I Highly Recommend Dr. Ellis Choy
I highly recommend Dr. Choy to anyone considering to have a Mummy Makeover.
I lost my body after having kids with exactly one-year apart delivery. Despite loosing all the pregnancy weight (30kgs) within 9 months of having my second baby, I didn’t feel like my old self. My pre-pregnancy body was very well looked after and all I could see now was a loose tummy and uneven saggy breasts.
Everyone looked at me and praised me for having the perfect body despite having a one-year old & a two-year old but nothing would give me the confidence of loving my body underneath the clothes. Regardless of my infinite love for my kids, and the fact that they are indeed a blessing, the thought of why it happened to me was always there. I stopped looking at myself in the mirror and avoided being seen by my husband. It was embarrassing. On top of that, I had to wear a corset underneath my clothes to hide the loose tummy every time I went out. The corset worked well in winter but wearing it every time in summer seemed impossible.
Meeting Dr. Choy changed my life. I had met other doctors before but was still apprehensive about the idea of a Mummy Makeover. Dr. Choy transformed all that. From our very first meeting, he was very thorough about every aspect of the procedure and at no point did I feel pressured into having the procedure done nor making choices that may have been monetarily more favorable to him. He always provided all the time needed to discuss my concerns and important information regarding the surgery. Dr. Choy spent a significant amount of his time understanding how I perceived myself, what type of lifestyle I lived and ultimately what outcome I was looking to achieve from the surgery. He did not assume anything about me and gave me full autonomy to decide the best option while being guided by his expert opinion/advice. I felt genuine concern from an amazing doctor/person to help me regain my body and inner confidence back.
Throughout our journey together, amongst other things, I have admired Dr. Choy’s honesty, integrity, empathy, and ability to lighten the mood whilst making you feel that everything is under control. His positive attitude takes the stress and apprehension of going through such a major procedure away. Dr. Choy was always there to answer my queries and concerns, whether it be over-the-phone or with an appointment at his private consulting room.
I had my surgery (Full Abdominoplasty and Breast Lift without implants) at Castlecrag Private Hospital and the nurses there were beyond lovely. It was an amazing experience in itself. I felt so loved and wish I had my kids delivered there!
The staff at Dr. Choy’s practice is extraordinary. They are extremely friendly, approachable, and helpful. I applaud and thank them for doing a fantastic job at keeping the whole experience a memorable one.
