1 week / Day 7

Hi!! 1 week and I'm feeling great! Had a face to face check up with Dr Choy yesterday and he is happy with all my progress. Nothing really to report other than I am not feeling pain or much tightness. I only get a mild sharp cramp if I move my arm too fast which is normal by what the Dr said.

A pic of them today and I can see they have already dropped a little more than previous pic! YAY ( Note I am taking a selfie which is why the right boob is not sitting perfect because I had to hold my phone. they both sit normal when I'm not doing that.

Day 5 - shopping :)

Day 5 and I still feel good. No meds and finished antibiotics today. I am going overseas for my birthday ( YAY) on day 10 so I needed to go shopping to get some bras and clothing that actually fits me now! SO FUN. I had my sister with me to help put the crops over my head and take them off so I didn't lift my arms up or strain.

I bought about 3 soft sports crops that don't really do much but sit there. Hopefully I can use these as an alternative to the ugly surgical bra some of the time. I have a check up tomorrow with Dr Choy so I will ask him then.

As you can see from the photos my boobs look like they fit my body well ( or at least I think so). In the purple top you can see they are still sitting high but they look awesome even now without a bra! So happy I got them done.

Day 4 - feeling good.

So today I stopped taking Valium because I don't have much pain. I have only had one anti-inflammatory this morning and the antibiotics. I went and got my hair washed and blow dried today at the hair dressers because it's too heavy for me to do it. I feel really good and can move a lot better though!

My boobs are still high and look "weird" and "boxy". I did notice in the mirror that one has dropped slightly already - YAY... but there is still a long way to go. I have a bruise on my right boob. I am surprised I don't have more because I bruise extremely easily. Will keep updating as I progress :)

I just want to start by saying I have had the best experience with Dr Choy and highly recommend him if you are considering a breast augmentation. I live out of state and my first consultation was about 1.5 hours and very in depth via skype. He made me feel at ease and knowing he was fully qualified made the choice easy. His fee is very reasonable in comparison to the other 4 quotes I got as well - his was also the lowest ( I won't say cheapest because his service is definitely not cheap quality), however this isn't why I chose to go with him. That was down to his personalised approach, detail orientation, reviews and qualifications/experience - he also wanted to understand ME and EXACTLY what I wanted and spent alot of time on this to make sure we were both on the same page about the look I wanted. The whole team at Zilver Linings ( his practice) were so lovely. They were very discrete and more than happy to accommodate me coming from interstate. I had one skype call and booked in the surgery. I had a face to face appointment the day before the operation to go through all the paperwork and test/choose implants. Dr Choy had already suggested a Mentor implant range during our skype call based on what I had indicated I wanted and so I had time to research those implants before the face to face decision. Surgery day was uneventful in a good way. The staff were great. The surgery went perfectly and I was barely in pain! Considering I had just had major surgery I was a little stiff and sore but nothing more than a good work out type of pain. I also had barely any swelling and was up in my hotel room doing my uni assignment that afternoon eating soup. Dr Choy called me the morning after to check in and give me some advice on post op management and I will see him after 1 week for a check up in person. I will be overseas soon and he will continue to manage my recovery via email, phone and skype as well :) It is now 3 days post op while I am writing this and I am still feeling pretty good considering the surgery. My chest is a little bit tight, but not as tight as I thought it would be. I still have limited swelling and I am really happy with the size of my new boobs ( even though I can't see the final results yet I feel happy at this stage). Overall I have nothing negative to say and hope others consider him for surgery as he looks after his patients well! I will be posting my journey so you can follow my progress there / see photos. Thank you Dr Choy :)
