I have not had my procedure yet, I am scheduled for a consult on 6/19 with Dr. J. I am looking forward to it and hoping all is going to go well. I did have some reservations on if I should have the surgery or not based solely on the cost but then after being in a motorcycle accident last year (no fault of mine) I decided life is too short to be unhappy, and I have been unhappy with my body since I had my beautiful son. I wouldn't change the fact I have a son but I would change what I look like post baby and for that reason I decided to go ahead and do it. My husband is very supportive and talked me through my guilt of not wanting to spend that much money on myself. But he did remind me... "you were hit by a van (my motorcycle accident) and made it out minus a few broken bones that have healed.. if it where him he'd do whatever he wanted (within reason) to make himself happy. " So hear is my journey.....

06/19- "In-House" consultation

So I had my consultation on 06/19 and it was great. It lasted about an hour and the staff was very nice, helpful and prompt. I spent most of my time with my patient coordinator Sherry who was absolutely awesome. She made me feel extremely comfortable and was very detailed. She went over the pricing and provided me with a quote. I did meet with Dr. J. His recommendations were on point with Sherry's and I wasn't given any news I didn't expect. I am needing to lose between 20-25lbs prior to surgery for best results which is also what I was expecting to be told and feel is reasonable. I am very excited now more than ever and look forward to having the procedures.
