I'm going to skip the long back story because I'm sure it's pretty much the same as everyone else's on here. Basically never liked my boobs but after weight loss it was the one major insecurity that remained regarding my body. I am now going for my breast lift with implant surgery in 3 weeks and I am absolutely freaking stoked about it!!! I was just wondering if anyone had any advice in preparing for surgery?? All of the reviews on here are super helpful. I'm not all that nervous right now because the excitement is deafening the nervousness. I'm only slightly worried because I have to travel to a larger city in order to do the surgery, so I'll be staying with my best friend. I leave on January 1st, pre-op on the 3rd, surgery the 4th, and post-op on the 10th. I fly home the following day on the 11th. My only concern is that unfortunately I will be travelling alone. Do you think it will be safe for me/ will I be capable of bringing a roll-on suitcase on the flight home? I'm worried I won't be able to move my arms, plus I don't want to strain myself even if I pack as light as possible..... Any comments? Suggestions?

Everything happened so fast today!! Alright, so I arrived the surgery centre at 7am! They made me feel super comfortable the moment I stepped through the door! I was taken to a room and changed into a gown, robe and compression socks! Soon after a nurse came in to check my vitals, then I chatted with the anesthesiologist very briefly and he described what was going to happen! Dr. Ward came in and marked me up right after, and then we headed into the operating room moments later. I hopped on the bed and they put massagers on my legs to help with circulation, then hooked me up to an IV and put an oxygen mask on my face! I was told to take 5 deep breaths and then start breathing regular , after my third regular breath I was out. Next thing I knew I was waking up and just as I’ve heard a lot of people say, it just felt like I had done a really intense chest workout and was sore from that!! I did not feel nauseous at all (and still haven’t yet! I woke up and sat in a chair with the help of the nurse! Took a couple of pain meds, and got a freezie! My best friend/caretaker was allowed in shortly and we chatted for a bit and was discharged probably 15 minutes later after I changed back
Into my clothes! I felt fine throughout the car ride home which took about half an hour. Since I have been home I have been laying on the couch and I slept for about 4-5 hours. My pain has not worsened yet , I’m supposed to take my meds every 6 hours and have some even stronger stuff to take as needed but have not felt the need to. Apparently Day Three is the most uncomfortable! So we will see how things are feeling by then. All in all I am very excited and just can not wait for the big reveal! I’m going to attach a photo of me with the sizers that I ended up choosing! I will take more photos when I am less nervous to take this bra off and peek at em!

Congrats on your surgery! Sounds like everything is going smoothly. Do you mind sharing what type/size implants you got? I’m also curious to know of the placement. Are they over or under the muscle? Any other details you have to share would be interesting to know. Happy healing! :-)

Thank you! I believe they were 300cc upon the left and 325cc on the right but have to double check with my surgeon t my next appointment still. Also, there were under the muscle and it was a standard anchor lift :)!
