Tummy Tuck Tell-All 2015
I am 45 and have 3 girls (27,25,19). I had my surgery 3 weeks ago. It has been a roller coaster ride. I still find that I can get worn out much faster then usually - but I am taking it slow. First week was a bit of a blur. One great thing was the day after surgery my doctor came to my house. Drains sucked! Was so happy to see those things gone! My hubby was Amazing. Drains were removed a week later and that's when I got my spanks. I think spanks should have their own post. (Next one)Week two was rough! Pain was like a moving thing. One minute fine, the next holy hell this hurts. Was this a good idea echoed through my head -oh every hour! Was still on pain meds and didn't care. I did go back to work - dumbest idea ever. Ended up taking two days off that week. Thank God I have a desk job. Had an emotional melt down and wailed and cried for a good 30 minutes - and saying "I wish I never did this!! Once I regained my composure and blew my nose and apologized to hubby, I pored a small glass of Atresa Chardonnay, took a pain pill and went to bed. Lol. Yea. I took it with alcohol. gasp!!! Don't follow my lead I'm just telling you what happened. Lol. Week three much better! Don't get me wrong I'm not exercising, I'm not doing everything crazy around the house. I'm chillin. Going to work. I'm not superwoman. I've not taken but one pain pill this week. The area right below my boobs was killing me!!!!!! Hurt so bad. Wth. I read up on it and found that massaging with cocoa butter lotion helped immensely. I'm still sore. I wake up and I'm movin slow. It was a pretty intense surgery and I'm human so, it is what it is. Bottom line I've waiting a long time for this. All my kids are grown and I'm going to make sure that I treat myself with respect and love as I recover to reclaim the hot bod of my youth. Mexico in May is looking pretty exciting.
