Because i was so satisfied with my breast augmentation that he did last april 2020, i decided to go back and told him that im ready to do the tummy tuck this time, ive been serious with my work out at the gym but this loss skin in my belly is really not going anywhere so i told dr bancroft you’re the only one who can do the magic so he did it. While im writing my review right now, i am 7days post op. And so far im loving my new looks Updated on 9 May 2023: Todays is my first post op dr’s appointment and since I wasn’t listening to my hubby of not constantly moving around on my 1st week, i have a lot of drainage in my jp drain so i still have it. Hopefully next visit it will be remove. But i am not wearing this faja. Not fun but definitely part of my healing process. Ill get use to it. Updated on 15 Jun 2023: Wearing xs faja 2 in the morning and only remove them when i go to bed per my surgeon’s advice. Very Inlove with the result. Exactly 4 weeks, im back to my office job. Exactly 6weeks, im back to the gym. ONLY using treadmill. walking with 3.5 speed.
I am 2 month PO from a MMO had a lift with no implant, and my tummy looks exceptional! When you meet Dr Bancroft, he is so excited for you and the conversation flows like you are meeting with an old friend. But it’s not just from him, it’s his entire staff! They always go above and beyond for everyone to make sure so feel safe and satisfied. I can’t believe people are still accepting less when there are doctors like Dr Bancroft out there!
I have, hands down, found my surgeon forever. Dr. B has surpassed ALL expectations for my tummy tuck with lipo, and I recommend him to EVERYONE. He and his staff have the perfect combination of professionalism, knowledge, encouragement and humor, and he is an artist with his work! It's a relief to have found a surgeon who truly enjoys positively impacting others' lives with his work, rather than someone who only looks at the bottom dollar line. His prices are very reasonable, as well. Even my husband likes him, and he's pretty leery of he medical field. (He also loves his results!) I had several consultations with other well reviewed surgeons, however, there was just something with each of them that wasn't the right fit. I knew within the first 5-8 minutes of talking with Dr B that I was going to book with him. Trust your gut!
I knew Dr Bancroft through my friend. First i went to a different surgeon (my other friend’s surgeon) before I visited Dr Bancroft but i wasn’t comfortable with that doctor. So After my first visit with Dr Bancroft,i never had any doubt, on that day i paid my down payment to book my surgery date. That’s how i trusted Dr Bancroft, his bedside manner, the way he listens to your concerns, the people who work with him specially jeannette is what made me decide to choose him. So far, i am 5days post op and i never felt any uncomfortable except for the first 2days because of the anesthesia. After that, seeing myself in the mirror, I couldn’t be more happier! Thank you so much Dr Bancroft and all the staff, Dr Lee, the anesthesiologists, the OR nurses, Jeannette . I SWEAR YALL ARE THE BEST!!! Updated on 5 May 2020: My babies lookin good ???????????????? Here’s a thing that everyone should know. And it comes from the best surgeon I’ve ever known and me working in a medical field, that’s why i knew he was right. His advice really make sense to me. Every patient heals differently, Every patient handles surgeries differently. And so as every surgeon and doctor does differently too. you cant suggest or advice to your friend that she has to do this just coz your own doctor told you to do so. But you can recommend that surgeon specially you know you were treated the best treatment ever. So, today is my 13th day since my BA. 3rd day from that day, i decided to stop all my meds except for my antibiotic because i just dont like the side effect of the pain pill and muscle relaxant they prescribed, so as the anti inflammatory. Im just not a pill popper. Lol. I went to visit my dr 5th day after my surgery and Then today. Attached is the pic that i took today of my BA and so far My babies are looking good for me. Im weaning the surgery bra. Dr wants me to do massage at the bottom, instead of top and sides. He wants my babies to be circle and perky and beautiful and perfect. And i want and feel the same way.. i so love it. He is the best plastic surgeon ever!!! Updated on 13 May 2020: And im still loving the result ???? im starting to massage them. The only thing that bothers me is, since the day of my surgery till 2weeks, never felt any pain till my up coming 3rd week. The sensitivity of my nipple area. A bit painful and uncomfortable. I still have the sensation thu, it’s just that it’s very sensitive and painful. Updated on 27 May 2020: My babies is getting better and better. I can’t wait to finally settle and i am able to do everything with no restrictions like doing cardio. Also im not sure if they’re already my right breast size or is it still swollen? my nipple area is still sensitive though. I noticed i hve few stretch marks. I hope the therapy oil I’ve been applying will help reduce them.
I am a long time member of RS, writing a review for the amazing Dr. Greg Bancroft. I had a tummy tuck with Lipo performed January 3. I cannot say enough how wonderful Dr. Bancroft and his team have been in providing me the results I had envisioned. DrB goes above and beyond to ensure the patient is informed, prepared, and comfortable every step of the way. DrB is an intelligent artist with awesome credentials. It is evident that he truly loves what he does! Dr. Bancroft is the best in the field and truly a BLESSING!!! Updated on 12 Jan 2020: I want to put out into the universe karma that may help someone make a decision that could better themselves. So, I’ll post updates. A little about me: 37 yrs, have 3 kids, all csections. I am 5’7, 120 lbs. I try to follow a healthy diet but haven’t been able to exercise as much as I’d like. Sooo once our family felt complete, it was time to regain some confidence in the body department. Dr. Bancroft focuses his work on mommy make overs and therein related procedures, which is amazing, since it’s his area of expertise and he’s literally done hundreds. Those that are concerned about the anesthesia, which was one of my MAJOR concerns because the thought of going under for so long scares me SO BAD, it was super easy, quick and comfortable. The medication cocktail that DrB has come up for post procedure is seriously fantastic because there has been NO PAIN. My TTrecovery has been much easier than the csections. I’m seriously regretting not doing more procedures so I would have just 1 recovery to deal. Now considering thigh Lipo and BBL .

I wasn’t sure if I would write a review or not, I’m a very private person, but i figured the more information people had the better they may feel with their decision. I’m a 47 year old mother of 3. My oldest is 23 and my youngest (twins) are 20. I went back and forth trying to decide if I wanted to spend this kind of money on my self, but my husband encouraged me to do what I wanted without regard to the cost. I had my surgery on Monday, June 17th and could not be happier with the results so far. Yes, I am in pain from the liposuction and surgery, and my back is killing me from being hunched over, but I know my results will be fabulous. My husband and mom have taken great care of me and even they are impressed by the quality of care from the doctor as well as how well the incisions look. I saw Dr Greg Bancroft In Sugar Land, Texas and I can’t say enough great things about him. He truly cared about my results and my overall health. He obviously loves what he does! I don’t know how many doctors come check on you the day after surgery, but he drove an hour away to come see me and give my mom and husband directions on how to take the best care of me. I figure when I can stand upright I’ll add some pictures of the after. But here is a before picture. Again, my pain is there but we are managing it in the best way possible. Updated on 27 Jun 2019: First of all let me begin by saying I believe Faja is Spanish for torture device. The results are great and getting better, but I’m uncomfortable most of the time. I know it takes patience...
From my consult to now 11 weeks post-op I couldn't be happier with my results. Dr. Bancroft and staff are so friendly yet professional. I love Dr. Bancroft's bedside manner and the way he educates you on the process and provides realistic expectations. He's so positive and sometimes seems happier than me with my results...which is awesome because sometimes you need that extra boost of confidence! My healing process has been uneventful and I've had a very positive experience with this surgeon and staff I've encountered. Follow the plan and trust the process!
Hello, I had my full tummy tuck done Fridayyay!!! After waiting for so long I finally got it done :) I love Dr Bancroft and his staff, they are amazing and make the patient feel safe and confident about the procedure. I feel amazing already, there is almost no pain at all! Which was one of my biggest worries, since I read stories about other women and how now the pain is, well I have been doing great and I have a wonderful husband who has been taking care of me since day 1! I also have my sister in law stay with me and she is amazing I love her. I’ve been eating soups and bland foods and slowly introducing chicken along with my soup, I found that after having a tummy tuck you really have no space to eat much food lol! I got the internal corset tummy tuck which I can already see looks great! I will finally wear a bikini soon! I am so I love with the work Dr Bancroft did on me, I am forever greatful. He came to my house the day after the surgery and changed my bandages and I say my tummy for the first time and let me tell you...I was totally amazed by it! And i still can’t believe it’s finally done!! Thanks Dr Bancroft I love you so much!!! I will highly recommend him to anyone thinking of getting this procedure done, he takes his time and he likes to get an excellent if not perfect outcome, which is what I like about him, he focuses on one patient at a time and I truly appreciate that! Here is a picture of my belt Belford and one of the skin he removed! I couldn’t believe how much loose skin I had Updated on 22 Jun 2019: Yesterday was my one week post op appointment, Dr Bancroft was very enthusiastic as always, and he explained to us what to expect in the next days. He took of my binder and omg I was so impressed by what i saw in the mirror! He is so amazing! I am loving my new shape and I’m still swollen, I can’t wait to see it get better each day. :) Updated on 30 Jun 2019: I’m feeling great, I got into a medium size garment, Dr Bancroft said everything looked great, I will be back to see him in 2 weeks. I am so excited to see my body changing everyday, the swelling feels like it’s getting better as well. I’m off meds and driving already! The scar looks like it’s not so bad either, I like the way he did it, I told him I wanted my pubic area to look flatter lol and he did a great job! Updated on 1 Jul 2019: Forgot to add these pictures for my 2 week update, I love how my back is looking too, I lost some weight already, Dr Bancroft explained that since the muscles amare so tight now they put pressure on the stomach making us feel full faster, and it’s true, I hope I continue to be like this lol I’m eating less now because i feel so full so quick Updated on 2 Jul 2019: I know it’s too early to be trying this on, I’m still swollen, but I just couldn’t help it! I haven’t worn a bikini since I was 24 before I had my first baby, after having my baby I lost the weight but I wasn’t confident enough to wear bikinis anymore, I think I look way better now than when I was in my younger childless years! I am going to Hawaii for my birthday next year, and I can not wait to finally walk on a beach without covering up my body :) Updated on 11 Jul 2019: I am still swollen, i think my boobs look way bigger now than before lol I want a breast reduction but i would hate those scars they make and my husband seems to get sad when I mention it lol, I don’t know how long it takes for the swelling to go away, but I love my results, my scar is healing fast, and my belly button is looking great too. I am definitely getting a tattoo next year to cover up the scar :) but it looks like it’s going to fade and not be very visible, so I guess we’ll see! I have my next appointment tomorrow, and I will get a new garment, right now I’m into a small which was really hard to put on, my husband had to help me put it on and now I can do it by myself. Dr Bancroft said he’s giving me a different faja, supposedly a Colombian faja, I hope it’s not too tight :/ overall I am doing really good! I have some mild pain in the muscles in the morning so I started taking half of a pain pill at night and the other half in the morning and it’s helped a lot. Other than that it has been a very easy recovery, Dr Bancroft really knows how to do tummy tucks! I can’t say enough words to describe how great of a doctor he is, I’m very happy and satisfied with the service and treatment i get every time we go to his office. Updated on 13 Jul 2019: I’ve gotten rid of my one piece bathing suits lol I only kept my two piece bikinis that I’ve never even worn, I was always so self conscious about my deformed belly! Now all I think about is the trip I booked to celebrate my birthday in Hawaii! I can’t wait to go to the beach! I’m still swollen now but little by little I know it’ll go away. I’ve been feeling great and have had no issues at all, I once thought I had a problem with my belly button but it was nothing, and Dr Bancroft was so nice, he told me if it was something that was making me nervous or feel pain, I could go see him the next day early in the morning before his surgery for that day, so I went and he was so understanding and nice, it ended up just being a stitch that was supposed to dissolve on it’s own but somehow it didn’t , but he made sure I was fine and said if anything else was bothering to just call him and he would he what we could work out, he’s the best! Updated on 20 Oct 2019: It’s been almost 5 months since my tummy tuck and I feel great! The scar is healing good, I still have no feeling on the area below the belly button but I really don’t care, my pubic area looks better now too, it used to look puffy since I had lipo a few years ago but now I can wear my pants without fearing I may have a huge camel toe lol
Almost a month to go and emotions are all over the place. I am Super Duper excited and nervous all at the same time. I have wanted this for years and I am in such a better place and now doing things for ME so I’ve decided to move forward. My consult with Dr. B was amazing and after communicating with another one of his patients here on RealSelf and seeing her results, I knew I had to schedule. He is so amazing and so informative and did not make me feel rushed in anyway. Just the excitement of how he could envision my final results after the surgery, I knew he was the one! Just want to get over this ball of nerves. It came so quick! Updated on 25 May 2019: The closer the time gets, the more I can’t believe I’m finally going through with it! I’ve wanted this for years! I’ve worked hard to lose over 30 pounds so I want to see my progress better with a flatter stomach. Long overdue! Kids will do a number on our bodies. I use to be hott back in the day! Excited, Nervous, & Anxious but it’s almost over! Updated on 8 Jun 2019: So, had tummy tuck yesterday. Everything appeared to go well. I don’t remember much of anything at all. My surgeon was so great & so helpful and wanted to make me feel as comfortable as possible! I love Dr. B & his whole staff!! I was super excited & nervous but sure I’ll love my results. It’s so important to be very comfortable and all with your Dr. It makes the process so much more easy knowing you’re ok and in good hands hands. He really cares. Of course God plays the largest part in taking care of us but He’s prepared a bit of help. He’s blessed Dr. B with 2 gifted hands! I’m still sore and will see Dr. B later today. when he stops by to check my wounds etc. He also called my Best Friend last night to check on me. He’s truly an amazing surgeon! I’ll keep you all posted! Updated on 10 Jun 2019: I’m on day 4 now. He first 2 days were really a bit rough. Thank God I have a great support system. I’m sure the results will be great but I can’t tell much right now due to wearing this binder. I’m pretty sore but I ready for that to subside so that I can get back to normal a bit. Updated on 10 Jun 2019: Updated on 15 Jun 2019: Oh how I love my surgeon! I can’t begin to even explain how amazing he is! His work is outstanding! And his passion for what he does and the care he has for his patients are over the top! I’m only 1 week out and he’s answered every personal text etc. I’ve sent him with any concerns etc. This is just the beginning of my journey! Can’t wait for the final results later. You can’t go wrong with Dr B! He’s the man! Updated on 7 Sep 2019: I am so excited & happy I did this! A new level of confidence is an understatement! Not just with my outer appearance but also my inner being! Dr. B is truly changing lives and making so many of us learn to appreciate and live life to the fullest. I Love this Doctor!!! Updated on 7 Sep 2019: So loving the fact that I can take photos again & love my curves! That stomach was atrocious and so depressing! Dr. B has helped give m so much confidence!
As you are aware, Nicotine in any form - cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, gum, or e-cigarettes is bad for wound healing and since good plastic surgery depends on having nicely healed wounds, nicotine and plastic surgery really don't go well together. I have had multiple patients use nicotine-free vaping solutions as a bridge to stop smoking before their surgery and while I always encourage them to stop all of it prior to surgery, some have confessed after the fact that they kept using them. I can't say personally that I have seen any difference, while smokers who say they stop but don't have a greatly increased incidence of problems in my experience. However, please don't take this as an endorsement of vaping nicotine-free solutions before your surgery, because as you are finding out, no one really knows at this point and it is all conjecture. I also think that a lot of vaping stores may be selling solutions that if not outright containing nicotine when they are supposedly "nicotine-free" may have other chemicals in them with unknown effects on your surgery. A lot of what constitutes a a good surgical experience is purely in the feelings, and it's not a good feeling to have lingering doubts during your recovery that you are doing something you shouldn't be doing. It's just not worth the mental machinations - your mind should be focused on doing the things you are supposed to do in your recovery, not worrying about things you feel you shouldn't be doing. Regardless, best of luck and wishes for a good recovery in your upcoming procedures!
I don't think a fever of 101.3 a week a half after surgery would be considered completely normal, although that doesn't mean your left breast is the cause of it. While implant infections can happen, it can also be due to things like urinary tract infections, respiratory infections, drug reactions, other wound infections or even bad timing of a flu with surgery. Regardless, the best thing to do is ensure you are evaluated by your surgeon in person to make sure everything is progressing ok.
From a purely surgical perspective just looking at your photographs, I think you would have a fantastic result with a breast lift (no implants) and a tummy tuck with liposuction of your sides and back. Having said that, if you are truly planning to have another child in the near future, it really would be best to wait until after this upcoming pregnancy. It is true that sometimes tummy tucks and lifts hold up well during pregnancy, but the usual course is for things to look a bit worse after pregnancy. Waiting until after you've had your next child would in my opinion be best for the timing for you. A mommy makeover done right should really be a once-in-a-lifetime surgery and one of those rare "have your cake and it too" treats in life - you've got your family, which is great, and then you get the awesome body, which is great! So if you really are planning a pregnancy in the near future, I'd suggest waiting until after it to your mommy makeover. But be excited until then, it should really make a wonderful change for you!
It is totally ok to have your surgery even though you are on your period. This is actually a surprising common occurrence with plastic surgery in my experience. It would seem that with periods roughly lasting up to a week that at most approximately 25% of patients would be in some phase of their period when they had their surgery in any given month. I am not sure if the stress of upcoming surgery changes things or some other factor, but despite many patients in my own practice telling me they scheduled their surgeries to avoid being on their period during that week, it either came early or later than they expected. Regardless, it is completely ok for the surgery. Best of luck with your procedure!
What you describe is fairly common after tummy tuck surgery - the combination of general anesthesia and the tightening of the muscles with a tummy tuck can make people not breathe with the full space of their lungs. The mucus that our lungs are always making can build up and come out in spurts. This can be compounded by the discomfort of coughing with the newly tightened muscles. I encourage all my patients to every couple of hours take full deep breaths in through their nose as deep and full as they can, hold that full breath for 2 seconds, and then blow it out slowly as far as they can, emptying your lungs as if you were trying to blow out all the candles on your 100th birthday cake! This will make sure all the passages of your lungs stay open after surgery and anesthesia. It is quite common for deep breaths like this to trigger coughing as your body clears your lung secretions so keep a pillow nearby for splinting - hug the pillow across your breast bone area and upper stomach to provide counter-pressure. This can make the discomfort of coughing much less. Staying hydrated can also ensure that your lung secretions are thin and cough-able, and not tough and sticky (sorry for the mental image!), so be sure and do this as well. Ultimately though don't worry too much, what you describe is relatively common after surgery, just be sure and do what you are supposed to do and it will get better. Best of luck in your recovery!
