I went to the dermatologist today

I actually went to the dermatologist today because my chin was red again(just a little but still worried me) he told me I do not have a staph infection that the culture the ER took came back positive because everyone has staph naturally living on their skin. He said if it was an infection that I wouldn't have been getting better the days I was only taking prednisone before I started antibiotics, that I would have been getting worse and running a fever. He thinks the correct diagnosis is Intravascular occlusion(they hit a blood vessel). He said it could have been necrosis(when blood supply is cut off and the skin turns black and dies), but thankfully my skin is still alive, and the reason it was itching is because it's healing. He said the only thing I can do is give it time!

Tips for healing from infection

1. One of the strongest antibacterial essential oils is Tea tree oil. According to the Journal of Hospital Infection, people with Staph infections can depend on tea tree oil for a treatment. During the past years, people normally use tea tree oil to treat fungal and bacterial infections. This is primarily because tea tree oil contains natural antiseptic agent, a chemical content that slows down or stops the growth of bacteria that reside in the skin. Since these bacteria are the main causes of infection and the disease, the natural healing properties that tea tree oil contains can help you cure it.

Use a drop and dilute it. It can burn if you use too much.

2. Eat tons of organic fruits and vegetables. I like to juice and make fruit smoothies every morning and yogurt for probiotics.
Juicing recipe - kale, apples, oranges, celery, carrots. (Or you can buy pre made ones if you dont have a juicer )
My favorite smoothie is banana, pineapple, almond milk.

Pineapple for healing and Inflammation: The enzyme found in pineapples, can reduce swelling, bruising, healing time, and pain.
The antioxidant vitamin C, when eaten in its natural form (as in a pineapple) or applied topically, can help to fight skin damage caused by the sun and pollution, reduce wrinkles and improve overall skin texture. Vitamin C also plays a vital role in the formation of collagen, the support system of your skin.

Infection Fighting Immunity. If you take a look at any acid-alkaline food chart, you’ll see greens are one of the most alkaline of all foods. Raising your body’s pH by eating an alkaline diet is one of the best ways to support your natural immunity, raise your energy levels and support the beneficial bacteria in your gut. So adding more greens into your diet will not only elevate the nutrition your body receives, but it also will boost your immune health, speed your body’s healing response and ramp up your resistance to infection.
