I have had dental problems for as long as I can...

I have had dental problems for as long as I can remember. My top 6 front teeth all had fillings and I had all my top back teeth pulled by age 20 due to cavities/ pain and not enough funds for root canals. Chewing was very difficult and it was very embarrassing to be missing so many teeth at such a young age. I started researching the all on 4 procedure about 3 years ago. I live in Texas and researched dental offices who perform the procedure near and far including offices in Mexico before deciding to go to Dr. Rick Kline at Smile Texas in Sugar land, Texas. He had great reviews and his wortk was amazing. I went in for my consultation in November of 2016 and was very impressed. The office is beautiful and Dr. Kline and his staff all treated me like family. They did my x-rays and informed me that I was a candidate for the all on 4 procedure and that he would also put in extra screws at no extra cost to me if he could during surgery. I didn't make an appointment for surgery right away. I knew that if I got the procedure done I wanted Dr. Kline to do it but I wanted to do more research before deciding to get the procedure done. I had my mind set on it about a week after my consult. Due to work and prior commitments I waited until August to get the procedure done. I went in August 8th 2017 for surgery. I was put to sleep via IV and didn't feel a thing. I woke up about 6 hrs later still numb with my temporaries in place. And as promised he added 2 extra screws giving me an all on 6 for the price of 4...Everything was done in house. Dr. Kline and his team are perfectionist they altered my temps several times before letting me leave the office. I was very pleased with the look of my temporaries ..The day of surgery was great with little pain. Day 2 pain wasn't that bad neither but I was a little swollen. Day 3 I was told would be the worse day and that was a fact, my face blew up and on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest my pain was a strong 9. I started having regrets. The dentist office called to check on me and assured me everything I was experiencing was normal and told me I would feel a lot better in a week or so and it did... The new teeth felt tight and very bulky in my mouth and my speech was off for about a month it takes your tongue a little while to get use to the new teeth. Fast forward to February 2018 I still have my temporaries in due to me working out of town and not being able to make it to the dentist office. My tongue has completely adjusted to the new teeth. I no longer have the bulky feeling or the tight feeling and the teeth feel so natural and I eat whatever I want with no problem. I use the waterpik after every meal and when I can't immediately get to my pik I swish water around in my mouth...I had my doubts at first but i can honestly say getting this procedure done was by far the best decision I have ever made. I get so many compliments on my temporaries. I can only imagine how my permanent teeth will look...I will tell anyone with missing or failing teeth to get it just make sure you research your dentist this is an investment.
