Dr. Bancroft was amazing! He answered all my questions pre op and post op I chose him because of his friendly bedside manner and the fact that he visits his patients the day after he performs the surgery. As most complications occur withing the first 24 hours that brought me so much comfort that he came to my house to check on me and remove the Cather. I'm 9 weeks post op and I would recommend him to any woman in the Houston area looking to get that coke bottle shape back! He is board certified a medical doctor and has his PHD! He is quite personal able and knowledgeable and doesn't mind you asking him a zillion questions. The staff is extremely welcoming as well. Jeanette is the patient care representive and she is awesome as well!

I had my procedure done 1/12/15 I have 3 kids ages 10,8,6 I had a umbilical hernia and excess skin from having children. I tried dieting and exercising and was tired of wearing spanx! I googled surgeons in the Houston area and met with one surgeon and that was Dr. Bancroft. I'll admit I thought I'd recover and be moving around within a week but I actually didn't start feeling better till about 4 weeks post op. I am glad I got the procedure im happy with the results but I didn't anticipate the slow recovery and pain. Thank goodness for pain pills and I had this procedure done before I found a job as I recently relocated from NY. I needed more than the 3 weeks that most suggest you need off from work.

I just had my procedure on Tuesday and I'm feeling down and disappointed but looking at your results gives me hope :) im super swollen and that makes it hard to see actual results . Congrats on the new chapter in you life . And the new job!!
On Tuesday! I was swollen for weeks and one thing my dr said is let the body catch up to the image in your mind. Give yourself some time you still have the drains in. I still have small swelling in the middle right above my vagina its numb and swollen but it takes time. I also recommend starting your lymphatic massage next week. It will hurt like hell but hells reduce the swelling around your incision and get the fluids moving around I went once a week for 30 min.

Holy smokes girlie you look amazing.  Start rocking those bikinis.

Lol thanks and I plan to! Vacation in June and October!

Nice:)

I agree....I had mine Feb 18, 2015....it will be 5 weeks tomorrow and am just feeling I don't need pain pills this week. Because I have had 3 c-sections and 2 other major surgeries I thought I could handle the pain and bounce right back...but it is a serious recovery. I don't know how people go back to work in three weeks. Having said that .....I have never been so happy about anything I have ever done for myself and it was worth every bit of it. Would just suggest the first week you have a recliner and very strong support and help.
U look amazing!!!!
U look great doll. If U don't mind me asking, was anything done about Ur hernia situation? I was just found to have one and he said it was nothing to worry about he said he could check it out once he started the procedure.
