Successful Subcision with Filler for Old Acne Scars

I've had a great experience so far here. I came in for some acne scarring that had been bothering me for 10+ years after multiple rounds of Accutane. I had some larger rolling indents on one cheek, and some texture on both cheeks.

I had already done 2 rounds of Fraxel with another dermatologist, so I was looking for something to address larger scars not completely healed by general laser treatments. After an initial consultation, Monique told me that subcision could be effective for the types of rolling scars that I had.

I booked the procedure for a week later–the subcision wasn't painful due to ample numbing, and we used some filler to fill in some of the deeper scars as well. It took about a week for some bruises to fade and a month to fully heal, but I couldn't be happier with the results. I've had comments on how smooth I look lately. I definitely recommend coming here if you have similar skin concerns.
