I love the results and will definitely be coming back

I had such a great experience at Center Aesthetic & Dermatology! The office is beautiful, the staff is kind, and they are the best at everything that they do. I went to get Botox / Dysport for the first time and was hesitant going into the appointment but after meeting with Dr. Karcher, she made me feel so comfortable with moving forward. I love the results and will definitely be coming back!

A+ Juvederm provider, produces natural results that are unmatched

Nurse Lynn Wojton is simply the best provider for aesthetic treatments around. I tried several injectors before finding Lynn and no one compares. The best in NYC - she is perfect for a fresh and natural look

Lynn is a true professional with a keen eye for detail. She knows exactly what needs to be done and is an experienced injector. I always feel 100% after I see her. I get Botox 2-3 times a year and she is perfect for a fresh and natural look.

It's been 3 weeks now and I look like an entirely new person

It took me a year to even bring up chin lipo to Dr. Karcher because the thought of it made me pretty nervous but when I finally decided to do it, it really was the best decision I ever made. Dr. Karcher and her nurse Jacqueline answered every single one of my million questions during our consultation and walked me through every step of what to expect. On the day of the procedure, they were...

Botox - I love my results

I had a great experience at Center Aesthetic, especially because my PA-C, Ali Sheets, was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and made me feel very comfortable. I had Botox done in certain areas for the first time and I love my results and will definitely go back to Center Aesthetic and Ali. The staff was also very friendly and had great customer service. I highly recommend Center Aesthetic...

20 Q&A

Q: In my 20s, what are my options for improving the appearance of my lower face? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. KarcherOctober 3, 2023

A: The fat under the chin and around the jawline is very hard to target with diet and exercise. You can be slim and in good shape but still have a double chin. The best approach would be to perform liposuction on the area below the chin, around the jawline, and on the neck. This will give you the most optimal result, a defined jawline, reduction of fat, and a timeless solution that won't change with weight gain. In order to improve volume loss in the lower face, we would likely recommend dermal fillers. We always recommend a consultation prior to making any decisions!

Q: Am I a candidate for under-eye fillers? If not, what are my other options? (23F, fair skin, non-smoker) (Photos)
Answered by Ali SheetsSeptember 26, 2022

A: You are a candidate to have some improvement with under eye fillers; however there are always limitations. Under eye filler can help with hollowness and shadowing, especially to your lateral (outer) tear trough. Under eye filler however cannot help with hyperpigmentation and vessels. It Also will not take away any bulging from prolapsed fat pads, but it may camouflage them. If you are prone to chronic under eye swelling from allergies, you also may have worsening of swelling. That being said, because you have some hollowness to your tear trough, it appears you would have some improvement with filler. It’s always best to start with minimal amount of product and have realistic expectations!

Q: How can I remove tiny injection marks from filler I had in 2017? (Photo)
Answered by Ali SheetsAugust 17, 2022

A: If you are talking about the small white bumps on your upper and lower lip, these may just be typical benign oil glands called fordyce spots. These are unrelated to filler. They are not dangerous but will typically reoccur.

Q: Swollen wound on my nose that does not heal - is this a cyst? (photos)
Answered by Ali SheetsAugust 17, 2022

A: If this does not heal on its own in 2-3 weeks it should be evaluated in person by a dermatologist to make sure it's nothing suspicious such as a skin cancer. I'd recommend making an appointment and having it biopsied.

Q: Is this a mole? (Photo)
Answered by Ali SheetsAugust 17, 2022

A: This appears more red than black/brown. It is possible you had trauma to this area and a small collection of blood filled up. If so, this should go away in a few weeks. However, It's best to have anything that's new or changing on your body evaluated in person by a dermatologist so they can examine it better.
