20 days post op/Body positive reminder

Hi everyone!
Doing well 20 days post op. Just thought I'd let everyone know a little of the frustrating things to expect post op and boost confidence for people:
1) The post surgical bra is super annoying to wear but honestly, results are better the more that you wear it. You should aim to wear it 24/7 esp the first 2 weeks. I switch to a really good sports bra for exercise (basically just doing my stationary bike right now for circulation and aerobic activity) so that I don't sweat in my post surgical bra. Also if I do go out to dinner, I have started to switch into a really good wireless bra for a few hours, but put my post op bra back on as soon as I get home. I have worn my post op bra to work (ugh) because I really want to heal correctly. Today, I might switch it up bc I'm almost 3 weeks out, but since I only work 5-9 (I'm a photographer) I might make another really supportive bra work. The main thing is that you don't want your implants to drop forward and down and sag, you want them to drop down against your chest so that they fluff the lower pole. While they're healing, they're in a critical period. The thing here is that it's super frustrating to get dressed. All my clothes still fit, but they just look different. Tight things look way better than they used to, but some of my favorite loose tops don't look as good anymore. I expected that none of my clothes would fit, but since I was insistent on not having huge implants, my clothing size/sports bra/bralette size didn't really change. My cup size definitely did change though. My goal wasn't really to have this crazy cleavage in a dress, it was yo look more proportional naked and have round boobs. I'm sure if someone didn't know me before my implants, they wouldn't know that I got them done. (I haven't told my PS yet but my steri strips did fall off and I replaced them carefully. Since my mom is a nurse, I know how to do it. The good thing is, the scar is barely even there. It looks like someone basically took a super super fine pen and lightly drew a single line on my skin. Everything is closed up and perfectly flat. Nothing is even raised at all. No redness, no pink....it honestly looks no bigger than a paper cut. I'm super impressed. I think it's a combination of the fact that my PS is really good and that I'm super healthy. I take a lot of vitamins, protein, and hydrolyzed collagen)
2) You will question the size of your implants and possibly have bouts of regret. This is normal. The first week, I was super bloated and my boobs were just really hard and I felt like they looked like torpedos. I felt really top heavy and honestly I just felt so fat. No worries, water retention will go down and the boobies will soften up. I knew that everything would be ok, but it's normal to get a little paranoid about it. Youll wonder if you went too small or too large. That's all normal. However, I told my PS that I would rather be in regret that the implants were too small and then get them redone in a couple years versus be upset that I went too big. I'm happy with the size. And honestly, I wear a size 2-4 in high waist jeans, a small in shirts (I have broad shoulders for my height), have small hips, and am only 5'2", so I feel as though anything much bigger than 355 ccs would feel weird on me... esp because I got used to having small boobs for 28 years.
3) I'm not used to people looking at my boobs.
4) I miss my small chest in a lot.of clothes. I feel as though small boobs are really cute and they look so feminine in dainty shirts and fluttery dresses. (Like I said though, tight or fitted things do look a lot better on me now). However, I def feel WORLDS better naked so no regrets. That's exactly what I wanted, to feel good naked.
5) Everyone is different. And no, not just body type, height, weight, proportions, age, starting boobs, etc...but everyone wants something different. Some people want really full breasts and to have tons of cleavage in their dresses or tons of upper pole fullness. I didn't really care about that. I just wanted naturally looking pretty breasts. Don't let anyone make you feel like what you want isnt what "you're supposed to want." I remember questioning that about myself a lot, that I should want what everyone else wants. No! Your body, get what you want. Some people my size would want much larger implants, 400 ccs or more. Go get it girl!!
I know women who have gotten super small implants ...like 200cc and they've gotten criticism for it looking like "they didn't even do anything or why even bother if you're just getting 200cc" and well my defense for them is that obviously they didn't want it to look like they got implants, right? Duh. So people want that and some people want it to look like they got super nice implants. It's ALL 10/10 acceptable!!
6) Once you have them done, the idea of getting them revised to your perfect liking in a couple years all of the sudden becomes much less of a big deal to you than it was pre-op. Money, of course, is an issue for most of us.
And honestly, what makes breast implants look 10/10 is confidence and personality!

2 week post op photos!

Sorry I'm so behind! Here are my 2 week po photos! Can't wait to get the tape off. I feel like I can't really see the true distance between my nipple and inframammary fold which is something that really changes the breast view.

5 days post op pictures

I am now 8 days post op but these are my 5 days post op photos. Feeling great! Still retaining some water and I think that is because I have a lot of tissue trying to heal and this garment I have to wear just compresses all the fluid into my torso. But I only have to take 200mg of ibuprofen as needed now, not 600 mg every 6 hours. Every morning is less and less "tight" waking up. Nipples are super sensitive but I think I'm also starting my period soon (so glad that didn't happen last week HAHA!)
