I forgot to update the past couple weeks. I went to my 1 month follow up a week ago and saw the doctor. He said everything looks really good and I am healing well. I mentioned the lumps on the left side and he said it is just the internal bra, they have tabs in them and he tried to trim them off and if there is a little more left you could possibly feel it. I assume this is something that will go away. I ask about the left breast being bigger and more rounder and he said that it could still be swelling and it could last until 3 months post op. My scars look really good and they are flat. They are still dark and I was cleared to start my scar treatment, he didn’t give specifics just what ever I wanted to do. I was also cleared to do normal exercises he just said not to do any dead lifting right away, which I do not do anyway. My next check up will be for my 3 months. I will add pictures form the last 3 weeks. At 2 weeks my right boob was less sore than it had been. My incisions were healed on the outside and I noticed they had started to drop and fluff. I noticed that they seemed more even at least at the same level. My incisions were not really sore but I noticed above my incision was sore I think from my bra rubbing it so I stopped wearing the surgical bra for about a week and wore a sports bra. Week 3 I cold move my right arm more without having much pain my left arm was already fine. My ribs under my breast wore sore which felt like a muscle thing. I think that is from the internal bra being stitched to my rib muscle. They looked pretty normal 3 weeks on and they didn’t seem as close together.

Great results! When were you cleared to start lifting your arms overhead and outwards?

I was told at about two weeks is when I didn’t have to do dinosaur arms anymore. My left side way easier to get movement and my right was more painful and took me until about 3 weeks before I could do almost full movements.

Thank you. I notice the left is still more round and full mainly looking down from the top but my husband said he barely even notices.

I’m am adding pictures form today 15 days post up. I am feeling pretty good. I don’t hav much pain other than on my right boob on the side is sore but I think that has to do with when I tried to sleep without a bra on day 10 (my paperwork said I could at night) during the night I felt a burning sensation like it was pulling so I put my bra back on and it’s still sore but getting better. My left boob doesn’t have much pain and I still have the lumps in the side. I do have pain on the underside of my boob and it feels like a brush burn m, I think my surgical bra is rubbing it but when I try another bra it dogs into my incision are. My incision is healing well it’s a bit bumpy and is only a little sore when pressure is on it. I have been laying flat for a few days which is more comftorable. When ninety down my boobs do have a bigger gap in between them but not to much. I think most of the swelling is gone and the look pretty even from the top. I can’t tell if the creases are even or not as sometimes in pictures the left looks higher still. They are pretty squishy and not super tight at all. I am feeling better about how they look.

At only 15 days in they already look fantastic! When they are fully settled they are gonna look outstanding! I think the creases look fairly even. Any differences will even out once they’ve settled. Consider adding a video which will help show your progress. You look amazing!

I spoke with the nurse at my one week and she wasn’t sure she said maybe th internal bra but I don’t think it is. I meet with the surgeon in 2 weeks and I will ask him.

Do you know what your bwd was? I’m deciding between two sizes and having a hard time finding women that look similar to me. I’m also getting above the muscle, you look very thin, did you doctor recommend getting above muscle? I’m very skinny up top but I I personally would not get under muscle so I’m going for sub facial as well!! Your results look great so far!!

I am about 115lbs usually 105lbs but held on to some after my 6th kid. I am 5’3” tall and my breast width was about 12.5cm. My implant I got was 12.8cm wide. I know I struggled finding similar. He did not recommend submuscular and I didn’t want that. I was worried I wouldn’t have enough ready tissue for the subfascial since I was smaller but I did. I didn’t awake breast augmentation which I couldn’t do with submuscular. I am happy with going subfascial. I was between 430 and 470 based on my width and the profile of implant I was going with. I do kinda wish I would have done the high profile versus the moderate high but my surgeon didn’t really give me an option.

Would you mind expanding upon why you would have preferred high vs med high? I'm scheduled next week so wondering if I need to make any last minute changes

Days 7 & 9 post OP

Here are some pictures of days 7 & 9 post OP. I feel pretty good. The top of my boobs have some pain when I touch them similar to a bruise pain. I did have a little burning near my incisions but I think it’s from where the internal stitch was pulled out but it was only days 7 and 8. On day 6 or 7 I did notice my nipples were a little more sensitive and a little more painful when touched but nothing too bad. Days 7 and 8 I noticed the swelling had gone down a good bit and I am starting to like the look of them now and they look more even. The left side is still a little bigger Hopefully it’s just some swelling still. I still have the lump on the side of my left boob. The pain on my right side is a lot better but I can still feel it if I am reach my arm out too much. There is some pain all around the edges of my boobs but only if I touch it and press on them but I do not really have much pain daily. I feel like the middle in between my breast are still swollen some. I have not taken any Tylenol or anything the past couple days but I am still taking my Bromelain and Arnica.

Thank you for continuing to share! Do you mind me asking your body size with the implants. Like height/weight? What the cup size desired and what is expected?

I am 5’3” around 117lbs. My breast with that the surgeon measure was about 12.5cm my implant was 12.8 cm wide. The implants added about 1-2 lbs and I still have some belly flub from my last baby lol. I am usually around 105lbs. I was barely a B cup before and I do not know my size now yet but I would guess a full C small D, which is what I wanted. The implant size I chose was the biggest I could get in the moderate high profile for my breast width.

That is very helpful! I am a big person

I don’t think that put my whole comment! I am bigger at 5’8 about 160lbs with a goal weight around 150. I am an avid body builder and very broad upper body. I appreciate you sharing as that helps put the frame in context. Just anxious with pursuing this so I find your sharing very helpfu

You’re still pretty early in healing. Over the next few months you’ll go through d&f and that’s where the magic happens. Thanks for continuing to post updates and share your journey. Happy continued healing.
