Could you tell me a little more about your experience? I'm meeting with him tomorrow to discuss subscision on an atrophic scar I have and would love to know what to expect! Is if permanent?

He’s very thorough and takes time to evaluate the scar(s) and offers his honest advice. My results have been permanent and as someone who’s had countless laser procedures I would say subcision offered the best results.

I so appreciate you taking the time to respond! Would you mind posting a photo from now? Completely understand if you'd rather not though! We're going to go ahead with gentle subscision and minimal filler so it doesn't retether. Might have you to thank if this heals properly :) you're a star

I did have fillers and it was Juvederm I believe. Sorry I can’t remember exactly though

No worries at all!

I am also having subcision and fillers with Dr. Ort and was debating between two fillers he recommended (Restylane Lyft or Radiesse). Radiesse lasts longer, but isn't dissolvable like Restylane or Juvederm. Your results look fantastic and seem really long-lasting even though it was an HA filler. It'll be my first time getting any filler at all so I'll probably opt for that too.

I had subcision and fillers done by Dr Ort a year ago and the results have surpassed my expectations. Having had acne for most of my life, and many deep scars as a result, I’ve tried every treatment out there with minimal changes. Dr Ort provided me with the best results to date and I truly am so grateful. He spent extra time and care during my visit ensuring he hit every scarred area, and honestly have noticed long-lasting improvement. I plan to visit again and would recommend anyone considering Dr Ort to absolutely schedule with him as he is caring and highly skilled.
