Boxcar Scars Before and After
I have primarily rolling and boxcar acne scars that are being treated by the Scar Healing Institute. I moved here in 2021 and previously have had laser peels and chemical peels beginning in 2017 annually. As much as I had hoped they would improve my skin, it was never noticeable. After reading reviews from the Scar Healing Institute and literally not seeing a single bad one, I made an appointment. From the first appointment he tailored a specific plan for my face and I’ve already noticed improvements. I had chemical spot treatments on the boxcar scars, subcision, then ultimately three rounds of sculptra. The staff is also very friendly and professional. They’re all in the medical field with undergrads working on Med school, which is definitely rare compared to other places I had had my laser treatments. My husband who never claims to notice the acne scars in the first place has even noticed that they’re better. I’m super happy with the improvement and believe it’s unparalleled to any office that claims to treat acne scarring. I would estimate my scar improvement to be 75% better than it was when I came for my consultation. This is significantly better than the usual 10% improvement that laser treatment yields alone. I would not go anywhere else and certainly won’t seek treatment from another office again.
