Scar Healing Institute Helped Me So Much with a Dented Scar.

I removed a mole on my face April 2023 with Metropolis Dematology located in DTLA. They pretty much left me with a huge dented scar that I didn't like at all (Picture below) & I went back for 2 laser treatments thinking it would fix the issue. It did not. Plus I had a third one booked. I'm glad I did not go back!!! From there I started looking on the internet and came across Scar Healing Institute with Dr. Hazany. He assured me he could fix my issue because I arrived sooner

I Would 1000% Recommend

I had pretty severe acne growing up which left a lot of rolling and boxcar scars on my face. I’ve tried quite a few things before coming here. (Different kinds of fillers, a few laser treatments, micro needling sessions, but none of them made a noticeable difference)

However after doing some more research, I’m glad I found SHI. They are one of the few places in the states that perform subcisions, which is a necessary step to break down the scars that are pulling

Best Thing I’ve Done for Myself

I had wide boxcar scars all throughout my face for over a decade. Dr. Hazany and his team (Dr.V, Jeff, Curtis, and Ian) are experts and have been tremendous during my treatment and healing process. It’s been over a year since I first visited them and my skin hasn’t looked this good since I was in elementary school.

They Get It Done and Do It Right

Fantastic office that treats their clients with compassion and respect. They did great work on my scars and have been communicative and supportive on my scar healing journey. I’d trust Dr. Hazany and his crew any day of the week for any skin problem I have. It felt really good to finally find working solutions.

Highly HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone who is struggling with acne scarring. All of the staff is incredibly knowledgable and professional, they really take the time to figure out what you need instead of pushing a bunch of expensive treatments on you. I’ve struggled with acne scarring for years and have had countless procedures and lasers done. My scar looks so much better and less noticeable

I have had such a great experience with Dr. Hazany. My stomach scar from a car accident was so noticeable when I came to him, after lasering and micro needling my scar looks SO much better and less noticeable and has been going away. I feel more confident, and I’m grateful for his help!

Excellent experience - a big difference in my acne scars

Excellent experience. I have seen a big difference in my acne scars. I highly recommend Sarah and she did a great job with the subcision. Sarah is very friendly, professional and excellent bed side manners. The office is very nice and clean. All the staff is wonderful and kind.

Dramatically diminished the appearance of a severe facial scar

This location provides procedures that other places simply don’t. They were able to dramatically diminish the appearance of a severe facial scar I have and my acne scars. The staff was nothing short of amazing and made me feel really taken care of. I had an excellent experience here.

He gave me injections to get rid of the scars - changed my life

Sarah and Dr. Hazany have changed my life. I got hit by a car and would have forever had my face deformed from my broken nose, broken orbital bone, stitches but Dr. Hazany gave me injections to get rid of the scars.

I don’t typically write positive reviews but I had to let everyone know how amazing SHI is. You’ll have the best experience and I do not say this lightly because I can be very critical of doctors. Sarah has amazing bedside manner and made painful injections
