Had really serious cystic acne on my temples that left behind a ton of scars. I've had it for a long time, like 7 to 9 years, and I've been fortunate enough to have a little bit of time to get it treated. The whole process was pretty involved. Started first with a deep chemical peel, called phenol, and then they did subcision. Subcision was a super interesting experience, you can literally hear all the scars snapping. This was where I got 90 percent of my results! I heard from the MAs that subcision is Dr. Hazany's specialty, and after getting it done on me, I can say that I'm not surprised at all. Recommend this doctor for anyone who wants real results

Wow I'm so glad for you, I have the same scars but about a good 2x worse and want to get this done to make me feel happier in life. So did it really work? It never depressed again ? Worth it?

Perfect Team for Acne Scars

I have been going to the Scar Healing Institute for around 6 to 8 months now. Before that, I had been looking for an acne scar specialist for the longest time. Most places do a bunch of lasers and say you have to get it 15 times to keep you as regular customers. Here, I was pleased to see that treatments are typically just done once or twice to get the results. The team here, especially Sarah the PA, are super clear about expectations, timeline etc. Took me about 6 monts to get the results I wanted. This included phenol, subcision, some fillers, and a couple of-touch ups. Super impressed that they're super advanced with their subcision...they make a lot of new tools everyday so I'd say future patients are in even better hands than I was. Definitely recommend this place for those suffering from acne scars. Befores and afters below.
