3 Weeks Post-OP!! Started "working out" today

Mum2Boys
$10,700
I cannot believe its been 3 weeks to the day! I ditched the belt last week and have just been sporting the spanx. I still feel pain, weak and vulnerable, but man I love the way I look in the clothes at the dark far end of my closet that if I've been holding on to. Started sleeping back in bed as of Saturday which lead to hanky panky which was NOT as bad as I feared. Yay!! hubby and kids are happy i'm up and at it butttt when they get too close, I have to keep em at bay. Even the dog! I ditched using coco butter and vitamin e oil on the scar bc my doc said silicone is the best. I miss doing it though. I started working out today. I can see the things GROWING so just did light squat and legs this am for 20 mins. When I came home, I did light shoulders and triceps. Why? Bc hubby booked a trip to Naples in two weeks. Can't wait but I'm like oh my! Gotta heal, get stronger, and buy a bikini bc frankly I look better in one bc it distracts from the swelling. A one piece or tankini with swelling makes me look like Ursula from little mermaid. A two piece. I look better in two piece. ??? I can't believe I just wrote that. Now that's what this is about. Happy healing ladies. No pain, no gain!!! Pictures later. Posting from phone to puter is a major PIA. Just tried 4 times and about to punch this new stinking laptop.

2 Weeks Post-Op

Mum2Boys
This time 2 weeks ago, I was in purgatory. Been back to work and to the swing of things. Still limited in strength. Can still feel the incision. Worried about swelling over the pubic area. Hoping it will go down. Seroma?? Please no. I don't have a bikini so gotta add that to the shopping list - yay!! Got a workout belt style CG that makes me look like a ninja warrior and tons of Spanx. I think my wound is healing pretty well in some areas to say the least. Some are frightening. Love the way my clothes now fit (except my jeans--they terrify me too much to put on bc of my scar). Looking forward to my 3 week PO update!! Happy Healing!

Mum2Boys
Hi RS!! My 2 week anniversary is up Tuesday and happy to say, I am back in business. 3 play dates, an epic compression garment shopping adventure, hosted brunch with the in-laws, and scooters with the boys. Last week, was day 5, the first day of not being completely hunched over. Still hobbled around in pain til Thursday. It just gets better! No pain, no gain!!
