I am a healthy, active woman who feels 40 but is approaching 60. Although my demeanor is more youthful, my aging face was telling a completely different story. I had deep frown lines between a heavy, sinking brow and fine lines and wrinkles under my eyes. There were “marionette” lines from the base of my nose to the corners of my mouth which continued all the way down to my jowl line. My cheeks were sinking into my face, I had wrinkles around my mouth from years of smoking, and my jaw line was being overtaken by a saggy “turkey wattle.” My biggest concern about my face was my drooping upper eyelids that were all but hiding my blue eyes. I was referred to Dr. Stompro by one of my friends who had the same upper eye surgery (blepharoplasty) safely performed in 2005 and who was very pleased with her results. After meeting with Dr. Stompro, I came away feeling very confident I had found the right surgeon and support team for the many procedures I ended up receiving. In addition to the above-mentioned face work or “mini lift,” I also received a full tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) to deal with my saggy stomach pouch that no amount of diet or exercise could erase along with liposculturing of my abdomen, waist, hips, thighs, knees and upper torso “back fat.” The procedure is referred to as “one and done.” One surgery, one recovery and done with any more major procedures! I was very satisfied with the consultation process and was able to schedule surgery during the time frame that worked best for me without feeling any pressure or rush from Stompro or his office. The office is busy for a reason: Stompro is that good. His support team consists of professional, cheerful assistants who are happy to answer questions and handle the many various procedures that are required during the numerous post-surgery office visits that follow surgery. One of the many positive aspects regarding Dr. Stompro and his office, is their focus and attention to maintaining a 100% safety record. Whatever minor &/or normal setback I experienced during my rehabilitation process, Stompro & team made sure to see me immediately to remedy the situation and alleviate my discomfort with skill and patience. I truly appreciated the empathy and understanding concern I received from those who treated me pre- and post- surgery, most notably, Danielle and Morghan. I had my surgery in October 2016, and within three months I was feeling like myself and looking refreshed but not overly “done.” Dr. Stompro’s skill and artistry is evident several months post-surgery when you can look in the mirror and see subtle not startling changes to your face and body. I don’t look like I’m trying to recapture my youth; but I do look youthful and vibrant. My stomach is so flat I can tuck shirts into my jeans again! As an added benefit to my tummy tuck, my sagging breasts now look pert and decades younger thanks to my stronger abdominal wall. It actually feels like I received a free breast augmentation without the pain or expense! I would highly recommend Dr. Stompro to anyone considering cosmetic surgery. His attention to detail, his artistic eye and his capable hands are the reason his practice is so busy and has so many referrals.
