Breast augmentation was something I wanted badly...
Breast augmentation was something I wanted badly when I turned 19. I did research for many years and decided to wait until I am at least 22 so I could get the silicone. After years of research and after telling my mom about it and having her support, I decided to move forward with it. I had a list of potential doctors but after meeting Dr Kludt for a consultation I believed that he was the one. I do not regret my decision at all! It has been nearly a year since my procedure and I couldn't be happier.
I had my consultation with Dr Kludt in August 2016 and scheduled my procedure on September 19, 2016 as a gift to myself for me 23rd birthday. I met up with him and his team about 2 more times after the consultation and before my procedure to make sure of the size. His team went over the procedure very thoroughly and what I needed to do to prepare. I felt like I was in good hands.
On the day of the procedure, I was incredibly anxious but excited. I took a bunch of before pictures prior to leaving my house and took photos when I got home that night. My procedure was at 11-11:30 and I think I was finished around 12:30-12:45. I was amazed in how short of a time it takes. Leading up to the procedure on that day, different nurses, the anesthesiologist and Dr Kludt met up with me to ask me questions and to check up on me. It helped calmed my nerves and it also reassured me on my decision. They finally walk me into this super cold large room where there is a bed and there was Dr Kludt, the anesthesiologist and I think two nurses. They laid me down quickly and I felt my nerves rushing because i couldn't believe I was actually about to get boobs!! I remember them putting heavy blankets (?) on me and there was a clock on the wall that I was staring at because I wanted to know what time it was before the drugs knocked me out. It was roughy 11:19 and next thing I know, I wake up in a room (around 12:30?) with my mom and I see a nurse rushing in. I felt like I was asleep forever! I expected to see bandages around my chest but I still had on the hospital garment. I made a good decision in wearing an easy slip on summer dress and sandals to the hospital. I was still pretty drugged out and thirsty so I wasn't all fully there. The nurse checked up on me and then I was already on my way home.
The road home to San Jose felt long and there wasn't much pain but I felt incredibly weak in my arms. It was hard for me to wipe when I used the restroom. I walked around with the marker marks on my breasts without knowing. It took me a few showers before I could fully wash it off.
For the following 2 months I slept on this wedge pillow I purchased on amazon. It seriously was a game changer. I tried sleeping on many pillows to lift up my back but the wedge pillow was the way to go. I recommend every one who is getting breast augmentation to purchase one. I loved the muscle relaxers they've given me. I didn't use all of the drugs that I was prescribed, fortunately my recovery wasn't that bad. I finally was able to sleep on normal pillows and on my back again around November. I was able to lay down before that but sleeping on the wedge was much more comfortable.
I did't wear a bra for at least until November and I decided to wear a loose fitting sport bra. I didn't see the need for it anyway! They sat really high up but I kind of liked that look. They didn't look that big at first since it still hadn't dropped and I had wished I gone bigger. Now that a year has almost passed, I am pretty happy with the size that I got. My right boob was originally much smaller than the left and still it hasn't fully dropped. My left boob is looking really natural and feels very soft. There hasn't been much loss in sensation in my breasts or nipples. I still have the scars but only because I get lazy with applying lotion or anything to help my scars fade. I am not too caught up on that since the scars are amazingly small and does not show when I wear bikinis. I had noticed a rash and really itchy skin around my breasts on and off since the procedure but applying hydrocortisone cream definitely helped. Many of people have told me that my breasts look natural and they are surprised when I tell them I got them done. I am incredibly happy with my decision and now I have large, proportional, natural looking breasts!!
I was an uneven 34A last year and now I am a 34DD and I couldn't be happier! I refer Dr Kludt to everyone I know.
