I am so excited! I scheduled surgery today for next month. I am 32 years old 5'2, 118 lbs (on a good day). I have wanted a breast augmentation for about a year because after breastfeeding two babies my body is not the same. I bounced back fine after my first baby, but after I had my son my chest is smaller then it has ever been and I have a little extra skin around the stomach area. I will worry about the stomach later, I want to work on my abdominal muscles first then decide what to do.

I have been a C and sometimes a D most of my adult life (Vics sizing) and am now barely a 34 B. There is just no volume left to my breasts and I definitely miss that.

My concerns:
Going to big or not big enough: I want to be where I was before having kids, however, part of me wants them a little bigger ;)
What will friends and family say: Just not sure. Maybe nothing at all...
Surgery: I have never had any major surgery, unless getting wisdom teeth pulled counts. I had my babies vaginally with no epidural (not by choice, they were fast deliveries). So I am nervous about surgery.
Recovery: I am a stay at home mom with a 4 year old and almost 2 year old and my husband will be able to take off of work for the weekend, but after that I have to be able to care for them. Also, I get a little stir crazy being still for too long, so I will need to remind myself to take it easy.
Scaring: I am really excited about the surgeon I chose because his method is a little different then what another doctor said I would need. The first doctor and another I spoke with on the phone said that the incision would be under the breast and up to the nipple and potentially all around (sorry I don't know the correct names for this procedure). The Doctor that will be preforming my surgery is doing an "ellipse mastopexy" to lift the areola, basically as I understand it an incision above the areola in the shape of an ellipse. He said that I should be able to achieve the look I would like by this type of lift. So now I feel a little less concerned about scarring.

A Little more information:
I am choosing and was recommend silicone gel implants and they will be placed sub pectoral.
I am hoping to loose a few pounds over the next month because I know I will not be able to workout afterwards.

Sounds good. What cc range are you looking at? We are the same height and I have 350s hp sub pectoral and love them. It made me a 30F, but my 30 Ds still fit also (had 225 overs at first, had complications, and went larger to fix). You can go bigger than that if you've had bigger before the babies, and it won't look "big" at all when you don't want them to. The one prob is your baby is so young-- you won't be able to lift the child for several weeks without compromising your recovery. Your risk for hematoma is great the first couple of weeks, but even after that you can do damage by lifting, so you may need more help. It took at least 5 weeks to return to upper body yoga for me, but I was back in the gym and at yoga at week 2 for only lower body -- I had the same fear of going stir crazy!! You can walk the first couple of days, just no reaching high, bending over, or opening jars or heavy doors, etc. Buy a wedge pillow also because you can't get out of bed otherwise (no pushing with your arms) and stacking your normal pillows will make your back hurt. I used my wedge for 6 weeks!!!

Thanks for your comment! I am really not sure about what CC, honestly I am a little all over the place. I don't think I will really know until I have the pre op visit and try on sizers. I believe the Dr said he recommends 350cc? at the consultation but it is honestly just a number to me right now. I know it will be hard to not lift my little one (and my older one), I think this week I am going to transition my younger one from crib to toddler bed so I won't have to lift him in/out of the crib for nap and bed time. As far as in and out of the car? well, maybe we have a lot of at home time for a little while. Which will be tough because I know in the winter time we really won't be able to get out as often. We will see how all of that goes. I really want to do recovery right, but I am a mommy and can't take a break from that. I was thinking of some yoga or setting up my road bike on the trainer for some post recovery workouts. I do plan on doing some walking, but even then I am not sure how well I will be able to push our stroller in my hilly neighborhood. Thanks for your advice! I will go look for a wedge pillow :)

Agh, the stroller. That's right. You can't push it. And the car seat. That's the toughest obstacles to figure out. But you will. Check out my pics for 350s.

I have sons of about the same age!!! It's not easy :'( but hoping you have a swift recovery!! I like to think that if we're active enough beforehand, that it along with positive thinking makes for a speedy recovery! It'll all be worth it!

After trying on the sizers, I definitely like the larger sizes. The Dr and I agreed on a range from 465-525. He said that would be a good range to give me the fullness I am looking for/lacking. I really loved how the 450-500 sizers looked on underneath a shirt.
Today I am a little nervous that I might be going too big! My original goal was a full C to a small D and now I have no idea what I could be looking at as far as bra size. Does it really matter? I guess not, as long as I am happy with how they look. The thing is I am hoping I will be able to "hide" them at times and show them off a little more at other times. Some of my friends and family can be a little conservative and I would like to just avoid the conversation with them. Yes, I am 32 but you know how family can be..

My ultimate goal is for them to look nice and big without clothes but not obviously "fake" in clothes. We will see how this goes. I hope I am making the right decision as far as size goes.

I will post my before w/o clothes photo next week.
