Dear anyone with prominent ears, Ever since I was...

Dear anyone with prominent ears,
Ever since I was around 10 years old, I was always afraid to tie my hair up because I knew people would make fun of my ears. My ears were HUGE! The worst part is that I love sports, and gym class, therefore it was a necessity for me to tie my hair up. I didn't excel at sports to my full potential because I was self-concious about me ears, and I wasn't as active as I should have been because I didn't want to tie my hair up. Even in school while I was writing tests my hair was always down and it was very annoying, it kept on falling in my face. So, my education was also being affected by my prominent ear problem. I dreaded wearing my hair down, but I had to wear it down. All my friends would wear fancy updos and braids, and always had their hair up, but I always had to have it down. I wished for a day that I could actually wear my hair up. I even wore headbands while I slept around my ears, hoping that in the morning my ears would magically not be prominent any more; sadly that never worked. It came to the point that I started researching about getting an ear surgery, that was my last and final hope. However, every ear surgery I found costed lots of many, required being put under general anaesthesia, included physically cutting the ear and the bone, and just overall had to much blood involved. My mom didn't allow me to get put under general anaesthesia, and didn't want my ear to be physically cut, therefore I gave up on this whole huge ear problem. I was really sad and mad that I had to have big ears, and everyone else I knew had perfect, normal, and un-prominent ears; it was so unfair. Then, one day my aunt who works in St.Joseph's hospital suggested Doctor Andres Gantous. And let me tell you, He was the answer to all my prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He told me that he does an ear surgery that requires only local anaesthetic, it's very short, and doesn't involve cutting the ear; only putting in stitches to hold it back. This was the happiest day of my life!!!!!! My mom booked an appointment for the surgery for me as soon as possible. The sugery didn't hurt AT ALL! I felt really comfortable during it, and I was actually so happy because I knew that after the surgery I would be a whole new person with normal ears. Doctor Andres Gantous is honestly a miracle worker, he is very nice, friendly, and warm-hearted. I would like to thank him with all my heart. I wear my hair up all the time now and I always think to myself that without this surgery my life would be completely different right now. I'm in high school right now and I do lots of sports, and I love wearing my hair up. I strongly recommend Doctor Gantous to anyone out there struggling with prominent ears, he will change your life like he did mine. Thank you so, so, so, so much!
Love, Julia
