31 and Wanted to See Improvement in Smile Lines - Sterling Heights, MI

I had been thinking about getting fillers to improve my smile lines for almost year. I was very happy with the rest of my skin and facial features, but had been noticing deeper smile lines that drove me crazy! I finally decided to have a consultation with Dr. Berkowitz to discuss my options. I had never had any cosmetic procedures and was very nervous. He told me his opinion and made me feel very comfortable. I made my appt. during a time when I had significant time off work. (I was so nervous I would have bruising/swelling.) I got 2 syringes of Juvederm in my smile lines and cheek areas. I was very nervous that it would hurt extremely bad and that I wouldn't like the results. Dr. Berkowitz was awesome. It didn't hurt nearly as bad as I anticipated and I had little to no bruising. I am very happy with the results. The only cons for me was the price and the discomfort I felt for almost 2 weeks following the procedure. I had a consistent ache in both cheeks for about two weeks after getting the Juvederm. It prevented me from going to the gym and doing strenuous physical activity. That pain has since gone away and I'm actually much happier with the results now than I was a week after the procedure. Overall, I am very glad I pulled the trigger and finally did it.
