I had pec implants and "high-def" Lipo on my upper and lower abdomen and love handles. The pecs turned out ok (one side is a little off centered. I think it was because after surgery the doctor he had me walk back to the hotel with my friend instead of calling a taxi as promised. I was still disoriented from the anesthesia and I almost walked into a car while crossing the street in NYC. My friend who was walking with me grab me by the arm and pulled me from the path of a car. When he grabbed me the support bandage on the side of one pec fell out. I'm not sure if it was the support bandage falling out or if it was my friend jerking my arm to keep me from walking into the car. Either way I think it was very irresponsible for the dr to have me walk to my hotel after surgery. I'm just greatful the car didn't hit me and kill me). Lipo was horrible, very uneven and I was left with a pouch below my belly button. My love handles were left with significantly more fat than my stomach which intern left me with an unfaltering shape. I was shocked at how little fat he removed. I looked worst then before the surgery because my shape was altered (flatter stomach and wide sides) and I was still ashamed to go shirtless because now I had a small stomach pouch. I was very unhappy with my lack-luster result. When I went for a final follow-up Dr. Steinbrech told me that he changed they way he did the procedure, because of patients being left with the pouch. He offered to redo the lipo with a small "friends and family discount" and he gave me a sheet with diet tips (which was very insulting considering the amount I paid him for Lipo). With all the money I paid, I felt he should have taken more responsibility for the poor results. If he changed the method of doing the surgery shortly after I had surgery because of poor results, I would have expected him to at least offer to redue the surgery with the new method for a significantly reduced price (just the ER and anesthesia cost). Take my advice, at most do pec implants with him and nothing else. Make sure that he doesn't send you away after surgery without a taxi to walk a few blocks to your hotel. I'm planning to get revision Lipo in the next few months to fix what he did and balance out my shape. The Lipo he did was a total waste of money.
