So, prior to being totally against surgery, I was trying to tighten my loose sagging skin due mostly to menopause, loosing weight, sun exposure & being 53 by any other means. I home derma rolled, used retin A, Vit C & various other anti-oxidants, did facial exercises, ate super healthy & exercised.
Nothing worked, so I contacted DermaSkin outside Montreal, Canada. They offered impressive before & afters of people with sagging skin that fixed their issues various lasers, RFs & filler. I sent lots of pictures & they told me what they thought they could do & how much it would cost & what they would use to fix my problem areas - naso labial & marionette folding, upper eyelid drooping & lower eyelid puffyness & lines - "ulthera to give volume to your cheeks and lift your eyebrows. Trusculpt to lift your eyebrows and work on your lips & laser yag Genesis on all your face and on your eyelids and they finish with a little bit of filler." When they met me face to face, they also recommendedthe Venus Viva treatment which I agreed to.
I should have done this review when it was fresh in my mind because I do not remember what came 1st, 2nd, 3rd. All I remember, is that after the Ultherapy which was not painful (Dr. Laflamme uses a light stroke method & does not stay in any area too long to lessen pain and loss of volume) was done before the bit of lip filler. After I saw my lips, which I hindsight looked great, I freaked because they seemed so big & I didn't want anyone to know about it, so DL used the ulthera machine to either reduce the swelling/the watered down juvederm. The truscupt & yag genesis is a blur the Venus Visa I remember.
A nurse took blood which would be centrafused down to the platelet rich plasma. The VV treatment which is a laser probe, goes into the skin at various mms up to 4 I believe. The treatment was bearable until the undereye area - that was painful & could not stop flinching. The smell of burning flesh was a bit unpleasant as well. After the treatment, the PRP was put all over my skin and I was to keep it there overnight and was not allowed to put anything on my skin except water for 3/4 days.
I had arrived at the Medical Clinic at 10:30am and did not leave until 4:00pm
I was a bit swollen but not bruised .... yet.
The next day, I puffed up like a balloon - the kids asked about it and my husband who saw me right after already knew that I had something done. This was quite hard to disguise & I was house bound for a week - pictures attached.
At 6 months, I felt that I had seen no improvement, so I contacted Dr. Laflamme - well, I should say that I never stopped contacting Dr. Laflamme - w/reports on this and that. Trying to be positive, but not seeing any improvement - in fact my marionette fold/line on 1 side of my face seemed worse. My under eye area might have been slightly improved though.
Dermaskin scheduled me for another visit. They offered to give me another Venus Viva treatment for free to see if it would tighten things more. They gave me a free Venus Viva treatment in September & again did the PRP & placed it on my skin & I was not allowed to put anything on my skin for 3/4 days.
It's been over 8 months and I'm not sure if I can say that there has been any improvement. My under eyes are a bit better, but if anything the lower face is more saggy.

Provider Review
Dre. Nathalie Laflamme
Dr. Laflamme has a lovely personality. She is bubbly and kind. She was a GP prior to being a Medical Aesthetician. Dermaskin has a very relaxing atmosphere with lots of staff and rooms for various treatments. It's located in a beautiful old house in Ste. Eustache, Quebec, just outside of Montreal.
