Once I discovered melanotan 2 on the internet, I felt I had to get it. I did my research on melanotan 2, and from everything I've read, it didn't seem to have any side effects that were too bad. So, I found a legitimate supplier, and placed my first order for a starter kit, which consisted of three 10mg vials of melanotan 2(Freeze Dried Powdered Form), and one 30ml bottle of bacteriostatic water. I paid a few dollars more to receive bacteriostatic water instead of plain sterile water, because bacteriostatic water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which is an anti-microbial, and keeps your melanotan mixutre safe to inject. It prolongs the amount of time that your mixutre can be kept in the fridge after reconstituting the melanotan and which ever dilutent you choose to use(I Wouldn't Go With Anything But Bacteriostatic Water For Any Kind Of Long Term Storage). Right now, I want to stick to good and bad effects, instead of proper preperation, dosage, and storage, which I'll write another review about. So, after the first few days, I wasn't getting a rock hard erection for eight hours, which is what I was expecting because I read from numerous sources that that's what happens. However, it did enhance my libido. Anyway, after about ten to fourteen days of injections and tanning beds(Like every third day on the tanning bed), my skin was looking awesome. I got to the point where I felt I had the perfect tan, so that's when I started injecting 1mg, like every fourth or fifth day. It came to the point where I kind of fell off my schedule, and I felt my tan was getting too light, compared to how I like it. So, I started another loading phase, with my max dose at .75mg. To get the most accurate dosing, I only use 30gauge, .5ml capacity, 1/2" length, BD Ultra-Fine Insulin Syringes. Full capacity is 50 units, and these syringes increase in increments of 5 units, this way you can get the most accurate dosing without using more than 2ml of water when mixing your melanotan. At last, my good and bad effects:
Good:
1- Obtaining that beautiful golden tan you always wanted
2- No burning, just tanning
3- Minimal U.V. exposure, which translates into minimal skin cancer risk
4- More of a natural tan look, instead of that tanning bed look
5- Basically, the best tan your body can produce with minmal effort, and how dark you get is up to you
Bad:
1- Increases freckles
2- The worst negative side effect I experienced is small darkened spots on my gums, and discoloration of my lower lip. I just noticed them a few days ago, so I don't know if they go away completely, but I'm guessing they do at least fade almost completely, from what I've read. They're basically like freckles on your gums, except larger. It' s called hyper-pigmentation. It occurs because of the high amount of melanin, which is what is increased by injecting melanotan.
Overall, I think melanotan 2 is a great product, especially for those who have pasty white skin and only burn and never tan, and for people who suffer severe burns in the summer because of their light skin color. From my experience so far, melanotan 2 is a very effective product for getting that perfect tan, but I think it should be used with caution, as even I am still experiencing new side effects. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!
