21 Years Old- NEW Sleeve Tattoo. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE.

So i've been keeping up with this page for a while now because it helps me cope with the feelings I have for my own tattoo regret. I got this tattoo a year ago and immediately regretted it a month later. It started out smaller & had this stupid idea in my head that it would look good as a sleeve. Impulsively made the decision to proceed with the tattoo which left me with nothing but disappointment which in turn led to depression and anxiety. I have been wearing sleeves for the past year (even this whole summer) which has been the worst experience of my life. I am not comfortable showing anyone, and I even struggle exposing myself around my boyfriend of a year now. I am finally accepting that this is a process and that this is just how things are going to go for the next year or so. I just don't look at myself in the mirror and avoid looking at it at all cost because I just get depressed when I do. Anyways, I have already had 6 pico treatments done over the past year and my next one is coming up on August 29. I have noticed fading significantly in several areas, and others where the ink is more dense, there are no changes:( It is all line work now that all the shading has faded in the first session, so I am hoping that I start to see major changes here soon!! Trying to stay positive though this journey but its been very hard.

Feeling so discouraged. I feel like Im not seeing any changes. This process is so much slower than I thought it would be. Happy fall is right around the corner because Ive been wearing long sleeves all summer and feel like such an idiot. So depressing. Been planning a cover up, hoping to be able to fade my tattoo so I am able to cover it up before next summer...

Seeing some slight changes. I rarely look at my arm, I havent for a year now. I am currently talking to artists about cover up ideas and have been planning a design for half a year now. I will not make the same mistake as i did when i got this tattoo!! Currently I am seeing most changes on my upper arm rather than my lower half of the sleeve. The lower half is what I want to cover up, and then i am hoping to get full removal on my upper arm. The good news is that I don't see any scarring or pigmentation issues at all! Thinking positive and remembering that this is a long process.
