Me today since my surgery. I’m happy!! Love Love Love what my surgeon has done for me and I have had an eye lift, plus+ gel fillers, some Botox, and thinking about a neck lift eventually. I’m looking into some of the skin care technics now. I feel so much better about my features and that’s what really matters. Feeling good about you. I look at this as an investment in ME. YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE! Yolo so just do it.

Keeping tape on--- as much as possible
Seems like my nose does better the longer the tape is on. ;o)~ Does anyone else keep tape on during the day time? I start to swell (it's hot and humid here). I swell so much I can't see the refined tip I first saw when swelling went down and I get a little worried about the form of my tip because I start to see a bulbous look to the tip especially on the left nostril and I am trying to avoid that....that is why I went through with this in the first place. hmmm. The upside....I breathe GREAT!! No issues really because stuffiness does come with territory while healing. My profile is very pleasing to me.

Your new nose is love and I know what you mean re the swelling, I'm going through the same thing....don't be disheartened my surgeon showed me what to expect so I am trying to be positive. My hump feels very prominent too but I have to put up with that short term.
Your profile looks great! Keep smiling

I think the tape does wonders.
I tape at night and put a bit on my bridge during the day as it's so swollen atm and looks terrible.
I'm only 12 days post op.
Your looking lovely BTW :)

Hey how is your recovery going? Are you still taping lots? I have been taping mine still before bed and if I haven't done it for a couple of days I seem to inflate like a balloon! Hope you're doing well :)

Yes I still tape periodically. It makes a huge difference. My doctors is great and gives me all the tape I need.

Every day <it's> different
True, IT (my nose) changes. Looked very nice and much smaller but IT has decided to swell. My fault I'm sure. Drink lots of water because that helps the healing process. It's been a day and two weeks now since my procedure and I am so far pleased. My left nostril is swollen more than the right side. So to me, I am my own worst critic.... I'm giving IT time before I can really be certain it is not flared out some on one side. I look much better without the larger nose. I'm still me just some subtle changes as I see it. I am hoping to see the tip a tad smaller do as swelling goes down that is my desired outcome.

You are looking lovely :) Your new nose really suits your face! We are all our own worst critic, and it's so hard not to judge the progress so far. I think especially at this point in the recovery where changes are much more slow to come around. You seem to have a great attitude towards the whole process.. I could definitely take note haha :)

I think attitude is everything. Time seems to work against us and cause all kinds of emotions. I will say I am much happier so far with this nose than the prior nose I had. But I will be thrilled if the definition I saw stays!! Thinking positive!

Your nose looks just like mine at 2 weeks post op. Just know that the swelling will go down much more! Make sure you're not sleeping completely flat because that makes the swelling take longer. Even now at 3 month post op, if I sleep totally flat, my nose is very swollen in the morning. Happy healing, gorgeous!
