Outstanding! - St. Louis, MO

I am a 63 year old female who had a Brow, face and neck lift, upper lid blepharoplasty, fat injections, Fractora RF and Fraxel RePair procedure 6 weeks ago with Dr. Ridenour.
I am ecstatic…not just happy!
I was looking for a more drastic, improved, overall result which I could no longer achieve with fillers. I was at a point where the temporary fixes could no longer satisfy the realization my face was losing volume and contour. I always knew at some point I would do the surgery to address my wrinkles, but the drawn look actually prompted me to do it sooner. It no longer made sense to continue spending money on fillers.
I had heard about Dr. Ridenour. His reputation is exemplary and anyone I asked gave him glowing critiques. By contrast, I had received mixed reviews on the other surgeon I was contemplating. Also, my friend had surgery with Dr. Ridenour and I love the way she looks. I had also heard that Dr. Ridenour would not do anything extreme. He wants you to be a restful, better you, but still “you”. He actually opted to decline something I asked for while we were discussing my surgical plan. He said, “You don’t need it.” I appreciated the fact he really listened to me. He asked me what was bothering me. He wanted me to convey my concerns and then used his expertise to suggest how to best achieve my vision.
Dr. Ridenour and his staff are phenomenal. They are friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable. Everyone is congenial and I have never had to ask or call for anything twice. I feel they are all beautiful on the inside and outside. They are full of warmth and very empathetic.
During the consultation and leading up to my surgery, Dr. Ridenour was totally thorough in his explanations. I never felt any question I had was stupid or that he was appeasing me. He has a great way with patients. I felt he was not pushy. He was calming but also serious and compassionate.
After my surgery, I honestly had no pain. I did have terrible discomfort. No prescription pain medication was needed, but I did manage with Tylenol. Fortunately, the discomfort was short-lived and I knew it would subside. After a week, I noticed things getting better and at 2 weeks it got exponentially better. I didn’t expect the numbness which is unpleasant; however, I know this will subside as well.
The after-care was amazing! I was seen about every other day and throughout the whole process I had the best of care. It didn’t matter who was seeing me on any given day because Dr. Ridenour and his staff worked as a team. It was very uniform. The whole staff was sensitive to how I was feeling after surgery, not just physically but also emotionally. You are not yourself right away and everyone understood that. Thankfully, this is short-lived. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
I am so very pleased with the quality of my results and Dr. Ridenour’s attention to detail. He restored my face to a fuller, better, more refreshed me. I don’t have the drawn appearance I saw when I looked at myself in the mirror. I feel like my outside matches my inside.
I would absolutely recommend Dr. Ridenour to family and friends. Honestly, I don’t know how to adequately express my satisfaction and gratitude. Dr. Ridenour is the consummate professional who cares for each and every patient with the highest standards. I believe in him wholeheartedly with no reservations…none.
