Almost 5 weeks

Hey everyone! So Thursday I will be 5 weeks post op. I go for a follow up on Wednesday. I'm still extremely excited to get my implants in November! I'm still healing nicely...i have a few spitting stitches, a couple have resolved on their own, two are still there, and I pulled one out on my own. They don't hurt and not causing any problems (little bit of redness, they look like little pimples almost). My scars have a couple darker spots where I had scabs form, but I'm not worried about them because my scars normally fade pretty quickly (two knee surgeries and can barely see the vertical scar). I'm hoping on Wednesday I can schedule a consultation for the implants so I can choose how many CC's I want!

My advice...

I have been reading on here and I have also watched a lot of the show "Botched" and see a lot of girls who need a lift but think they're too young or don't want the scars from it. I was thinking the same thing too, but I'm so happy I chose to do what my doctor recommended. Don't let the thoughts of being "too young" for a lift stop you from getting one if you need it! Do your boobs sag and make you unhappy? If yes then get the lift! Getting implants just in hope that they'll give you the lift you desire will most likely only give you bigger saggy boobies. The other reason I see people saying they don't want to do it is because of the scarring. Honestly, how often do you walk around topless? It's not that bad of a scar especially if you have a great PS and follow the care instructions they will fade quickly and if you're like me you'll be so happy with your new found boobs that you won't care that you have some scars. So my advice is this, do what is right the first time around. Don't look back and ask yourself "what if". If your doctor says you would benefit from a lift, then ask for an explanation and if they have the vectra scanner ask to see how you'll look with implants with and without the lift. Just do what is best for you and your body think about the long term!

The lighting in my room makes the scars look worse than they really are.
