Amazing experience from start to finish. Dr. Rottler and his staff are wonderful and my results are even better than I expected. He spent an hour during my consultation going over what to expect and answered all my questions. I highly recommend him!
I had a surgery scheduled for June 21 at another clinic. I had some negative reviews and decided to change DRs. So glad I did. Dr Rottler was so kind, called me before I even seen him and we talked for over an hour and I booked an in person consult. When I got to his office I knew I was in the right place. And he also does drainless TT. That was a huge plus to me! I was not looking forward to coming home with drains. And it has been so nice. So surgery was Tuesday morning at 9. Surgery was expected to take up to 5 hours. I was in there 3.5 and everything went perfect! After surgery and recovery I was able to come home. The ride home was not bad at all 3 hours to home. I got home and crawled in bed. I walked every hour and have been on top of pain meds and fluids. Day 2 Wednesday wasn’t too bad. A little more difficult getting out of bed. But all in all I can’t complain. Last night and into today was a little more intense. But nothing that hasn’t been able to be managed. I do have a sleep number bed and I bought a pregnancy pillow which has been great! I also started taking mirilax 2 days before and Arnica which is to help swelling and bruising. I have to say I am super happy with everything so far! I will continue to update as each day goes on! Pics are from before, day of and yesterday! I ended up with 420 cc gummy bear implants. Thats all my body could take.. I think they’re perfect! Updated on 14 Jun 2023: I am 2 weeks post op. Things have went very smooth. The new girls look great and my tummy tuck is healing well. Love my belly button. I may have overdone it yesterday so I have been resting today. But all in all VERRRRRY pleased!
The whole team was amazing. Dr. Rottler listen and delivered and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He picked the right size for my body and he makes sure that his patients are long term happy, confident and comfortable with implants. Nothing was rushed or pushed. Incisions are very small and recovering was pretty easy. I would definitely recommend Dr. Rottler and his team.
Dr Rottler did my first implants as a 22 year old girl... fast forward 18 years and 3 babies later I wanted more and a tummy tuck. He is amazing, kind, and a perfectionist. His staff is top notch. I joke that I hope he is around when I’m 60 for my last set but really I do. What a great surgeon.
My first augmentation consultation was about 20 years ago… for multiple reasons I didn’t pull the trigger back then, regretted it for years, and now couldn’t be happier! Dr. Rottler and his staff was MORE than amazing! I would make the same decision to have the procedure 100 times over again and scream from the rooftops at how AMAZING I feel! I went from a very small, misshaped B cup to a very full C cup… the shape and size are the perfect fit for my body an Dr Rottler hit the nail on the head! I can't thank him and his staff enough!
The first time I had breast augmentation surgery was 9/4/10 with Dr Rottler. I had 2 small children and had nurses both kids for almost a year each my boobs were always on the smaller side, but were just more deflated after nursing and pregnancy. My mom had breast augmentation years before and used Dr Rottler, so she highly recommended him and had a great experience. I wore a 34 a or b depending on bra. I decided to go with 300 cc because I didn’t want it to be obvious at all. I just wanted to fill out my shirts and bras better and have more fullness. After my surgery I was happy and wore a 32 C bra. Not long after, though, I developed a capsular contraction on my left breast and Dr Rottler actually had to do another surgery to fix the problem for free. The problem was fixed and everything was fine. Fast forward to me being remarried with 2nd husband in 2019. I decided to get new and bigger implants. He of course was all for it and willing to spend the money, and I wanted them bigger at this point, so we decided to do it. I went back to Dr Rottler because I trusted him. I wanted 800cc because all the pictures of boobs I saw online were about this size. He told me that he would try to give me as large as he could, but couldn’t promise that many ccs specifically. I was good with that. It helped that I showed him pictures of what I was wanting. The surgery went great was on 12/5/19. It has now been over 4 weeks and I LOVE my boobs. He was able to do 650cc and he said that is the biggest silicon size he could fit in my body. My husband loves them and so do I. I’m wearing a 34 DDD bra from Victoria’s Secret. First picture is from morning of surgery with 300cc and the rest are with the 650cc. Updated on 10 Jan 2020: It has now been over 5 weeks since my surgery and I feel pretty much back to normal. I hardly have any pain at all. Only if I touch by my ribs it hurts sometimes but not often. I love how my boobs are laying more naturally. They are nice and soft and weren’t like that with my first set of implants. I have to keep remembering to massage them.
I breast fed two children and lost over 50 pounds. My breasts lost their fullness so I had breast augmentation, 525cc, silicone, over the muscle. The best gift I’ve ever given myself! I highly recommend Dr. Rottler in St. Louis. Updated on 9 Feb 2020: 5 months after BA. 135 pounds, 5’6”, breastfed two children, lost over 50 pounds, went over the muscle, 525cc. Still very happy with my results! Dr. Rottler and his staff is amazing! Scars are nearly gone. Updated on 30 Jun 2020: Over the muscle, 9 months post op, still very happy with results. Sometimes wish I’d gone a bit bigger, as I loved the way they looked right after surgery. Feel as if they’ve always been a part of me! Happy to share feedback/advice on the process. Updated on 30 Jun 2020: 9 months post operation (10/2019), feel great, wish I’d gone a little bigger but they feel like they are a part of me. Very natural fall, and I can dress them up or play them down depending on how I feel. Worth it!
I am so happy I chose to have my procedure with Dr. Rottler. Everything from start to finish went so smoothly, I'd recommend him to anyone looking into plastic surgery. I went from a A/B cup to a D and could not be happier about how they look and feel. Dr. Rottler and everyone who works within his office were nothing but helpful, accommodating, and beyond friendly.
Super awesome experience. The team here made me feel super comfortable and reassured me even though I had severe asymmetry. This procedure helped me go from a left breast at a b cup and right AA cup to a symmetrical full d cup that looks so much better in clothing and I no longer worry about my different breast sizes.
I purchased a package of 3 BBL treatments at an Open House. Dr. Rottler did my breast augmentation back in 2013, and I’ve also had a couple of laser hair removal treatments. So I decided I finally wanted to do something about my dark spots and freckles. I saw Emily, the esthetician. She is super knowledgeable and experienced. I was impressed with the first treatment, but we started out on the lowest setting so the results weren’t huge but definitely noticeable. She turned it up a bit for the second treatment and I think I’ll see a lot more results this time. It definitely pulled a lot more pigment this time. Cons: can’t work out or get hot after treatment Updated on 22 Jun 2019: Spots are starting to flake off. I can already tell the spots on my forehead are much lighter/gone. My upper lip looks so much better. I never realized how dark it was! I'm hoping my third treatment will take care of my cheeks a little more. Updated on 21 Aug 2019: Updating this a little late, but this was my after photo when my face was done “peppering” after my 2nd session. I’m getting my 3rd session in October, once it’s easier to stay out of the sun and this brutal heat! Looking forward to it! Updated on 2 Dec 2019: Between 2 & 3 I used hydroquinone for a month. It definitely helped pull some pigment from the melasma on my forehead. This treatment was a spot treatment of my forehead. I forgot to take a before picture but this is immediately after. I will continue to use the hydroquinone for the next 3 months and do another spot treatment in a February. Updated on 12 May 2022: It’s been awhile since I updated. I was taking OCPs and my melasma came back with a vengeance UGH. Now I’m ready to get rid of my melasma for good since I’m no longer taking OCPs. It is interesting my melasma tends to be worse on the right side. Most people have it worse on the left due to driving. Will post after pics when my face is done “peppering.”
All scars are initially pink from the inflammation which occurs during wound healing. As scars mature they fade to a silvery white appearance. Thickening or spreading of scars can sometimes occur due to a variety of reasons but this is usually not the norm. My recommendation is to go with a large enough implant to fill out your skin yet still be compatible with your tissue requirements, ie. not too big or sagging will occur, and try to avoid putting a scar on your breast as a lift would do. I would go with a subglandular Gel implant and No Lift. The implant would be placed through an imframmammary approach, in the crease, which will be hidden and well tolerated. No need for endoscopic surgery for this. It would not be worth the additional time under anesthesia or the expense in your case. Most importantly, find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to evaluate you in person.
Your contracted saline implants need to be removed along with a complete capsulectomy and creation of a new virgin space for a new implant. I would replace with gel implants and perform an areolar reduction and lift, however as long as you have implants you will always have to deal with reality that another surgery is likely in your future as these devices like all man made devices are prone to failure, wear and tear and someday need replacement. Removal without replacement will likely result in a very small breast as it looks like the implant probably makes up the majority of your breast volume.
For most patients seeking breast augmentation, a saline implant looks better if it is under the pectoralis muscle. Most of the augmentation patients don't the enough soft tissue coverage to camouflage the rippling effects of the saline implant on the upper breast pole noted when the patient is in the upright standing position. It takes at least 2.5 to 3.0cm of soft tissue coverage to be able to use a saline implant in the sub glandular position and then over time as hormonal, metabolic and signs of aging occur, the soft tissue coverage can thin out and the breast may look like a water bag, not pretty. Gel implants work better over the muscle as opposed to saline.
To remove the lipoma you will trade off for a scar. The length of the scar depends on the technique used to remove the mass. As with any surgery, other potential complications such as bleeding, hematoma, infection, scar, possible recurrence are among the possibilities to consider when deciding whether or not to undergo elective surgery. Does the benefit outweigh the risk? If you are asymptomatic, no pain or numbness, it may not be worth it unless it is physically debilitating.
Yes, it is recommended that Latisse be used to maintain eyelash growth. Latisse stimulates the antigen phase of hair growth and if you stop using it your lashes will return to normal, therefore it must be used indefinitely to maintain length, color and thickness.
