Surgery is right around the corner (this Friday)...

llsmall
WORTH IT$7,400
Surgery is right around the corner (this Friday) and I'm still unsure if I really want to go through with it. My entire life (at least starting in 7th grade) I've wanted to have breasts. For me, it's about feeling more feminine and fitting clothes better. I'm petite (just shy of 5' 4", 110 lbs). After expressing my goals to the surgeon and stressing I want to end up as a 32/34B, he recommended The Natrelle, cohesive - 290cc, MF under the muscle. I talked him down to 250cc but he strongly advises against any smaller because of my 11cm width. Now I'm terrified they'll be too big. I wear a padded bra with inserts, but when I tried the 250cc sizers and rice test at home they look way too big for my frame. Help! Any other petite ladies out there with advice? I really don't want this to be noticeable and I'm frustrated that the 3-D image he showed me looked so much smaller than the sizers.

Can I ask if you had consultations with anyone else? I went backwards and forwards for a year with my surgeon and for my 5'5" height and 56kg and the look we initially discussed, he was prepared to use the mentor memory shape cohesive 190cc shape. In the end I decided, once I had tried rice sizers at home, that it would still be too big for what I wanted and he suggested that I have breast fat transfer instead so I'm booked in to do that on 10th April. Whilst I'm not advocating that you do that, you really have to be happy with what the surgeon is going to do. Good luck!

Interesting suggestion; I didn't realize that was an option. Fortunately, my surgeon has ordered smaller ones for me with less projection so I'm feeling MUCH better about moving forward with surgery. Thank you for the thoughtful response!

Hi, I'm 5'1" and 105 lbs athletic build and I had BA done on 1/20. I had natrelle 410 - anatomical shaped and went with the 320's. I'm really glad I did because I've seen several posts where ladies wish they had gone a little bigger. I feel more proportional and so happy with the results so far. I have a very active lifestyle, exercising, light weight lifting and my boobs haven't gotten in the way. I'm over 6 weeks post op and have tried on bathing suits and love the way I look. I didn't want to look over enhanced with very "round" boobs with my frame so after talking to my surgeon we decided the anatomical shaped highly cohesive would be the best.

One of my sibling had saline implants and she went with 330cc and she's my height/weight and looks great.

I am glad I didn't go any bigger! Hope this helps and good luck!

You could handle 250 to 275 cc, just make sure you give the PS wish pictures and pictures of what you DO not want too. It really helps them! Best of luck on Friday, you will be fine and see you on the other side with boobs!

Post-op progress

Very happy to report that the surgery is behind me. I got serious cold feet right up until yesterday, but recovery has been better than I expected and from what I can tell, size seems good. The worst part of surgery for me was the IV. Everything was going fine and then 10min afterwards, I passed out. The nurse gave me medicine and they patiently waited for me to feel well enough to be given the anesthesia. I slept off and on all day and through the night. Today I'm feeling well enough to be up and walking around. Really excited to see the results tomorrow when I can take off the bra/band and shower! Thanks again to everyone for the support, this is a fantastic community!

Thrilled with the results! Day 3

llsmall
For all you petite women out there who want to stay on the smaller side with implants, I'm happy to say it is possible!! I finally took a shower and got a look at the results and the PS gave me exactly what I wanted. Keep in mind I never showed him a picture (he is not a fan of that) which had me incredibly nervous, but now I see that I could trust him. Stopped the pain meds yesterday morning, and feeling good (granted, I imagine recovery is easier with smaller ones).

You look great!! Very natural. Are they 250cc round?

Thank you! And I'm not sure. He was only looking at anatomical but I know that he added a lower profile one as an option going into surgery. I guess I'll find out at my follow up on Friday; nothing in my records indicates what I actually got.

I'm so happy to hear that you are very happy with your size. I am too. I feel like you though, I still don't know much about what happened in the OP room or what size my PS ended up using since I'm sure all those questions will be asked tomorrow for my post-op appointment. My nurse has only told me about my tummy tuck procedure as to what was done but I guess I never asked her about my BA. Happy healing IIsmall :)
