I had a upper blebharoplastry surgery (eyelids) on the 5th August 2016. I am 46 years old but felt and looked older. I am so so happy with the results. My surgeon was Mr Alastair Platt who was extremely helpful and gave me all the answers to my questions. I felt very comfortable with him. I would strongly recommend this to anyone that is thinking about it and once you have spoken to Mr Platt you won't hesitate. You can't see where I have been operated on as the stitching is nearly invisible. My surgery was carried at at St. Hughs which was amazing and a special mention to Linda for all her care. Sara

You had a pleasant face prior to surgery. The you of now is somehow a far more open face: the difference isn't just your eyes, it really is your whole face. The results are unfathomable and excellent. Very well done on having the confidence to undergo surgery. I can only imagine the super confidence you now have.

I agree that your face looks more "open". Fresh and youthful. Natural. I was surprised to find how much of a difference it made to my whole face. Most unexpected improvements: Ive noticed I can wear eye makeup now without it transferring to your upper lids! Also I swear my lashes are longer now! Has that been your experience?
Yeah i have felt totally the same i feel so much better when applying make up around my eyes and now feel i don't have to wear it all the time as its opened up around the area.
I'm the same age and have the same issue - your results are simply fabulous. Can I ask how long you took off work, or should I say, how easy was it to cover bruising etc after the 1st week or so. I didn't plan on telling people at work if I do it
The first week i couldn't do anything as wasn't able to look down or strain my eyes and was a good couple of weeks before the bruising went down but apart from that it healed so well.
