450 or 500 Cc HP Silicone- Revision - St Charles, IL

ORIGINAL POST

I finally have made the decision to get a revision...

WORTH IT$6,155
I finally have made the decision to get a revision done on July 22nd! I am 5'4 1/2 and 117 Ibs. I got my first BA back in 2010, when I was 18 years old. I never had any regrets about the surgery, and was ultimately happy with the results. I don't have a before BA photo available, but the photo that I posted is a recent picture before revision. I currently have 250 filled to 300 cc, round, saline, and under the muscle.

Back in 2010, I was interested in having my BA done by a plastic surgeon from the Chicago area. I have visited three different plastic surgeons, and after visiting Dr. Ghaderi, I knew he was the one. I am willing to drive 3 hours again for him to do my revision. Dr. Ghaderi is wonderful and very genuine in what he says. I was way more nervous this second time around, probably because I am older and more conscious in complications that can occur after a surgical procedure. Dr. Ghaderi eased my nerves when I had my consultation about my revision. He reassured me that the second time around will be way easier, and explained that I will be happy with my results. I totally trust him.

During my consultation, I decided to go with either 450 or 500 cc, HP, silicone, and under the muscle. The reason for my revision is that I definitely want my breasts larger and silicone to make them appear and feel more natural. Dr. Ghaderi explained that I can get either 450 or 500cc depending on what will fit. I like the look of HP from what I have seen on other individuals, whom have profiles on realself. I will keep everyone posted, and will show the results. I'm so excited for July 22nd to come, so I can get this done!!

So do you feel your current implants aren't natural looking? Very exciting that you get to do your revision. Feel free to join the July 2015 breast implant revision forum for some additional support while you're recovering!

No, it's not that my current implants don't look natural. I think they do. They don't feel natural though, and hopefully silicone will improve that. I'm trying to upload a photo of my current BA, but am having trouble

Ah, I understand! Yes, I have heard pretty much everyone that goes from saline to silicone say that the silicone feels more natural. Glad you were able to upload your current photo. Can't wait to see your results!

Awesome!!! My revision is Wednesday also. I'm actually 550cc HP saline currently and downsizing
July 21, 2015
Exchanging and downsizing for Mentor mod plus silicone and going to 250-300cc
July 21, 2015
Good luck to you ! :) oh downsizing huh? Did you feel like the 550cc was too much? I hope that I will be satisfied with the 500cc. Picking out a size is definitely the difficult part lol
July 21, 2015
Yes it's very difficult and the 550 is wayyyyy too big for my liking. I'm 5'2 and 135 lbs, so instead of the big boobs flattering my petite body they just make me look fat instead. I think you'll be happy with 500cc. They look great on my best friend.....just not on me. You'll have to post pics and give updates. I'm wondering if recovery is easier? My last surgery I was down for about 3 weeks.
July 21, 2015
For your height , 5'2", 550cc does seem quite large. 300cc definitely sounds like a better option. For my height, 5'4 1/2", 300cc for me personally, looks too small. Does your friend have high profile 500cc silicone? I noticed that you do not like high profile for yourself, did you feel that they looked unnatural? I'm getting high profile and I don't want them pop out too much on top, I want them to have the natural tear drop look.
July 21, 2015
I didn't like the high profile on myself, but some can pull it off. My friend is about your height and she weighs around 115 and they look perfect on her. She has 550 saline HP also. I rather the tear drop look also and from all the articles I've read the mod plus silicone tends to give that. Saline is firmer than silicone and they don't give as much, so they have more of the "fake" look on some(me being one). I'm thinking the 300cc will def give me a more natural tear drop shape. Just don't want a lift and don't want the granny sag going lol
July 21, 2015
I hope I can pull it off lol. I hope I can achieve more cleavage with the high profile, too. Yeah, everyone is different so it's hard to tell what result is going to transpire :/ I'm praying, knocking on wood, crossing my fingers, and hoping for the best! My surgery is just around the corner which is making me nervous. I'm glad I have trust in my PS though, I believe he knows the look I'm going for which is so essential.

Hi girls. Actually from what I have read, the profile that they choose is based on your measurements. If you are more narrow in the chest, like your band measurment is 32" or less, than you will get high profile. And it won't look overly full on top. Moderate plus profile is probably if you are band measurement of 34" and up. I hear doctors do moderate plus majority of the time, it just depends on the average patient coming in. I am 5'4, and have 550 silicone gel HP dual plane. I really like the dual plane result in one breast I can see. It gives breast with a bit of droop a natural lift! I have an 18 month old daughter and i breast fed her first few months and even that can cause some droop.

Is this first pic of you? I like the shape of those and I like the fact that there is hardly no upper pole fullness.

Were you able to write more than 500 words would it let you?! Also to accommodate a larger implant the breast crease has to be lowered but I am having problem with my left it's not like a soft natural crease yet I'm going to make a new post about it. I think you look great!

Hi! I noticed in your photos you are wearing a 'compression garment' What is that for? Your size is very similar to what I was too, I was a 285cc saline implant overfilled to 315cc's, I saw a few doctors, who told me no more than 425-450cc's. Finally the PS I went with said okay we can lower the crease for larger implant. At first was going to be 500cc's in one, and 550 in the other. High profile it had to be based on my measurements, like you to. Than decided both 550cc's. Night before I sent more photos and he said maybe you want 600cc's, and I thought that would make me like cup sizes larger so I foolishly said let's stick with 550cc's. I am a cup size bigger but by adjusting the straps I would have room for 50 more cc's. You must be about a size 32 band? HP is reserved for women with narrow chest wall so I would imagine anyone wearing a 32 band or less. And if you measure a 33" you round down for bra sizing, not up, which I was doing wrong before. So I was a 32DD and now I am a 32DDD. How about you?
September 12, 2015
Hey! The reason I wore the compression bra was because my Ps wanted me to for six weeks after surgery. It helps with swelling, pain, and prevents displacement of the implants. I wonder why most surgeons said they wouldn't go larger then 400-450 cc. So did ur plastic surgeon make a new incision that is lower. Yes for my bra size I am a 32 so I'm guessing either 32DD or 32DDD.

I wonder if I should have worn it. Exactly I was told the same thing by previous surgeon's, they all said no more than 425-450cc's for me. To accomadte a implant larger than that, would require the breast fold to be surgically lowered. One told me that mine was too tight to be lowered and higher risk of double bubble. If you are 500 and most surgeons told you 400-450, and based on the compression bra you had to wear, he had to of lowered your crease. How many consults did you have? It took 5 before I found my PS that would do it. If you have seen any of my posts, I am concerned about the left one the crease isn't "soft" yet. So there are limits how big you can go. I am still mad I didn't go slightly bigger, because I still could fit a 32DDD. (Can adjust the straps to make more or less room in the cups.) I do have bigger worries with the really bad asymmetry I have. It looks really bad in pictures. He told me I didn't have to do a lift, but he meant I didn't need a vertical full lift, the dual plane method actually corrected the ptosis I was starting to have....But I do need some help with my right side because they are asymmetrical. I wonder how easy it would be to swap in a 600 or 650 while correcting it. But who am I kidding I can't afford to...I thought would get it all taken care of at once. But otherwise I really like my PS and the practice, I am realizing I am just a really complex patient.

So u have two incisions? Because my ps used the same incision on the crease. Increasing ur size with 50cc actually won't make a difference I have read. So if u want to be able to notice, I think u should increase to 650cc or 700cc. so u said ur breast are asymmetrical, u mean one is way larger than the other one? Even though I wish my breasts were a little larger , I am just gonna keep them the way they are because I don't want the crease incision to go up or have to make a new incision. Also I don't have the money to do it either. Either way we will have to get a revision in 10 to 15 years . I think I can live with what I have because I have to remember how much of a improvement my breasts look from the last surgery. I am happy with the results and believe my surgeon did a great job. I think after surgery people love their results, but at the same time get a little greedy and start to ask the "what if" questions. When in reality we have great results and have to be happy with what we have. if we have more surgeries, we are more vulnerable to complications. Idk , I'm just trying to be happy with the results . I'm trying to start different things to make them larger and give them more of a plump look. By exercising your arms, u can increase the size of ur pectoral muscle which can give your breasts a more full look. And I bought a lotion that u can apply to the breasts to make them slightly larger. I also like the size of my breasts during the time of my period lol

Hi! I have one incision which is under the inframmary fold. And you are totally right, I think it is easy to get greedy about the size and ask all the "what if" questions. I feel like I am a difficult patient for him! Yes I am improved from last time, I really like the shape of the left one I can see a higher lift than before the nipple position. But I am still fairly asymmetrical, meaning nipple position is off. The left breast the nipple is higher than the other. (I have posted some pics) I think if they looked the same and the asymmetry was on point I wouldn't be complaining about the size as much. I was thinking the same 50cc's not a huge difference. I was told I didn't need a lift, but he meant I didn't need a full vertical mastecomy. But it is possible I will need a donut lift in 5 months to acheive asymmetry. Which I can't really afford to do, and I am already wondering if that can be done with local anesthetic. I think the laws on wheter or not can do operations in office vary from state to state. I live in Illinois, where procedures have to be done at a surgery center. I don't know about local anesthetic though. Check out my photos. I thought I had or have some kind of deformity in the right breast but I still don't know what it is. It looked almost like a snoopy deformity but my PS said that it's not and in a few months should hope to look better, but I'm not sold that it will yet. And you really truly look just like your wish pic, the last few photos you posted especially. Same hair as the model too!

I'm a little nervous for my surgery. I just pray that everything will turn out okay. I just hope that I was be satisfied with the 500cc. I posted that I will be receiving either 450-500cc depending on what will fit best. I called today and voiced my concern about 450 being too small, and I hope my doctors can give me the 500cc. From my understanding, you loose 50cc if the implant is placed under the muscle. Does anyone know if this is correct?

I often hear 25cc are lost when going under the muscle but I think it depends upon each person's unique build. Good luck...you're almost there!
