I went to another Dr in town and I was comfortable with her. I decided on 350 CC mentor moderate implants placed over the muscle. I didn't have trouble with them, but they were saggy and I was not happy. At that point my Dr recommended that I go with a larger implant and I was skeptical at first but trusted her knowledge. She removed my 350CC and replaced with a much too large implant for my body structure. She changed to a 550 CC so that it was tight and my skin was not saggy. I tried this out for approx. 8 months because I was devastated to say the least. I had already had two surgeries with her and was not happy. I went back to her and she agreed with me that they were too large for my body. She told me that she would give me a lift and replace with smaller implants. I do have to say she worked around costs for me because I think she knew this was poor direction from her. During my consult she should have immediately recommended a lift in my opinion. A year passed and my breasts were uneven, very very thick scarred and my nipples were too high.
At this time I decided to go get a second opinion from Dr. Garrison. I immediately loved her, and during my consult I cried because I was so frustrated with what I had already been through. She hugged me and made me feel at ease with her. She spent a fair amount of time with me that day explaining what had happened to my breasts and what she would recommend doing. I was sold, I wanted to have the procedure she recommended because she assured me it wasn't too late to fix my breast. Up until this point I felt botched. She recommended that I revise my lift, I also needed a capsulectomy for my capsular contracture. and I explained to her that I would still like to go a little smaller, and she agreed that would be a good idea for me. I scheduled my surgery that day.
The day of surgery she came in and her bedside manor is impeccable. She made me feel calm. I believe I was in surgery for maybe an hour or hour and a half. I do still have the implant placement over the muscle and went with a high profile gel mentor 350cc implant. I am a week post op and I got my steri strips removed today and my breasts look fabulous. They look the very best they have ever looked after any procedure. I will go back for a follow up in two weeks, and she will then give me some medication to improve my scaring from the lift revision, which I never had before when I had a lift.
I am extremely happy with her and her whole staff. They are very caring and compassionate. I wish I could go back in time and chose her from the very beginning, but we live and we learn. I highly recommend her and I would do it again if I had to, but only with her.

So glad to hear your breast implant revision went well. It sounds like you even had your lift scars revised to your liking too...that's great! How has your recovery been the past week? Please keep us posted as you continue to heal. ;)
