I have a muscle condition causing drooping eyelids...
I have a muscle condition causing drooping eyelids. The procedure is complicated by having very little muscle tone and the high probability that I may not be able to close my eyelids completely after the procedure. Dr. Covici was clear about the risks. Dr. Covici was wonderful in assessing the possibilities regarding surgery with the ultimate goal of improving my vision (and appearance). He did a terrific job with good outcomes. I can now open both eyelids without assistance (this was previously difficult upon waking). My eyes are less tired. My appearance has improved noticeably. Dr. Covici was compassionate and caring and very focused on my individual needs. He is truly an expert in his field and made just enough adjustment to maximum improvement without impairing my ability to close my eyeleds. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing this type of procedure or any procedure that he is able to provide. Dr. Covici and his staff are very professional and did everything possible to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. His follow up was great. Again, I would highly recommend him to others.
