We'll I have my date 12th feb can't really believe I am doing this ......something I have wanted since my twenties but never had the courage. I am 36j (will take pics soon) and would like to be a C I think. My sister says that I should go to a D as I won't look like myself but I reckon that's the whole point of it. I have lost almost 60 lbs in the last two years but my boobs never got any smaller only the back size went down was a 44j. I won't believe it when I look down and my nipples are not actually at my waist. Awaiting my letter about how to prepare for the op so any tips would be appreciated.

Good luck! I'm yet to have my surgery so am in the same boat! Definitely agree with the face that the whole point of a BR is to feel different because you are sick of lugging bowling balls around

Bowling balls yes....long oval ones. I too want to go to a C (currently anH) but he says D. I say I'm paying for it, and if I knew they were eventually over the years, going to expand and pull down a bit, then I'd like a C.

We are a similar age and I've just had this procedure 11 days ago. Today I have my dressings off so it's the first time I will see the results and I'm very excited about it. Eat well, don't touch alcohol for as long as you can before surgery and stay away from stress (if you can!) I also took 30c Arnica 4 times a day before surgery. After surgery I take Vitamims C, B and B Complex and Bromelain after surgery to help with healing. You will also need plenty of rest, I definitely underestimated that! I'm lucky enough to have a brilliant partner who looks after me totally.

Thank you so much for your advice hope u were delighted with ur new boobs. I am nervous about it all but also excited. The general anesthetic is a bit daunting so afraid I will wake up. I work for a GP and she is trying to put my mind to rest over that.

I basically let the doctor decide. I was reduced from a DD to a B and the improvement to my posture is itself miraculous. I had been experiencing neck and upper back pain for years, and recently it had become acute. I was 66 at the time of my surgery. My appt. was scheduled in October/November 2013 and the surgery happened on March 18, 2014. You will look and feel SO MUCH BETTER. BTW, love that mirror!

You look absolutely amazing! And your before and after pictures are entirely "uplifting"! HOW DOES IT FEEL? what size did you end up going to?

A few pics of the girls before they are put under the knife on the 12 February. It's only two weeks and three days away now Any hints on cream I should use on them before surgery to help with healing.
