I chose to have a CO2 laser procedure on my abdominal area to improve the appearance of severe stretch marks and sagging. I had tried thermal procedures, and topicals but the CO2 laser was the only one that resulted in a visual improvement. The texture of the skin and the stretch marks are much smoother and the elasticity improved significantly. Dr. Chestnut gave me realistic expectations and over the 6 months that the skin improved, I got the results I was looking for. I feel this is a better alternative to a full tummy tuck if you do not have major sagging and skin folds.
