WORTH IT
In December 2015, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, following this devastating news, the first thing my breast surgeon asked was "If you want reconstruction at the time of the bilateral mastectomy, do you have a plastic surgeon?" I only knew of one group from a friend of mine, thus I met Dr. Emily Williams. from the beginning her positive approach started turning this negative diagnosis into a positive, we talked through all our options and settled on Free Tram Flap reconstruction. She always told me I would be happy when were done, and she has not let me down. I am 3 weeks post op and feel great. Post-op I had very little pain in the flap area and have had exceptional care. Her constant support and smile has helped me to adopt a complete positive attitude toward this experience. Her staff are amazing, and I look forward to the next phase. I am so excited to have a flat stomach and perky breasts, and be cancer free! It has been such a please to have Dr. Williams as one of my navigators as I go through this process. Thank you Dr. Williams!
