It's been a while

It's been eight weeks and I have not wanted to post because my stomach has been very swollen and hard as a result of the pop I felt. It was a bleed which turned to jelly and could not be drained. This is now resolving itself and I am more comfortable and tummy is starting to look better. It is still relatively early in my recovery and I can't tell if I will have a good result. The scars are healing well however I am a little concerned that I will have a bulge above the scar in the centre of my tummy. However I am going to be patient and see if it is just swelling before I start thinking of revisions.

Very swollen

It gets easier to move each day, I can get out of bed easily and I can definitely stand straighter which is easier on my back. However my stomach is very swollen and hard on the left where I felt the biggest 'pop' when I was retching, it is also extremely bruised. I am really pleased with my boobs, they are smaller, neater and sitting where they were many years ago. I'm glad I had them done at the same time, I was worried about being able to cope with the pain of both, but I have to say I have hardly noticed any discomfort or difficulties with the BA.
I have an appointment at the hospital today and I will see what they are going to do about my left side, not sure if I want them to draw out fluid or just leave it alone.
When I was really poorly in the hospital all I could think of was 'what the hell have I done to myself but now that I have started to recover I like what I see. The boobs are great and I can see that my tummy will be good. It's weird looking down and being able to see the tops of my legs, lol.

1week post op

It's been a good day today, I have started moving around better, my pain is minimal and I had a much appreciated BM. Being hunched over all the time is hard on my back but I'M managing ok. I am up loading photos from the hospital and some taken earlier today, sorry about the poor quality but I will post some better ones soon.
