I have been yo-yo dieting since I was a teenager so always had a bit of a jelly belly, but now my weight is fairly stable at 142lb. However after two large babies the second of which was a caesarean I had an overhanging pouch. I have lived with and hated it for years , youngest child is 11, and now it's time for it to go. My boobs really need an uplift and one is slightly bigger the the other, I considered waiting but it is more cost effective to have both procedures at the same time. At the moment I am swinging between looking forward to having a flat tummy and freaking out about the op and recovery time. My op is booked for the 25th of October, yikes, that's not long.

No going back now
lynsueOctober 16, 2014
I paid for everything in in full today so no going back now. Only 9 days to go so I have started preparing for the big day. My parents are moving in to take care of me, the kids and the dogs. I have been batch cooking meals to freeze as I am a very picky vegetarian and my Mum hates cooking for me. Don't want to starve if I'm not up to cooking, I suppose it's one way of losing weight, lol. My PS provides everything I need including compression garment, dressings and meds, the only thing I have to bring is post surgery bra which I bought on Amazon. It is really soft and front fastening which will be a lot easier to put on. I got some Arnica Montana today, I asked my PS and she said it was a good idea.

Last day of work tomorrow
lynsueOctober 21, 2014
I have my last day at work tomorrow and my pre-op the following day which leaves me one day to clean the house and get some shopping done. I can't stop thinking about the surgery and I'm feeling tired because I am not sleeping well, I am looking forward to having the surgery behind me. I forgot to mention that my PS does a drain free procedure. She believes that although it means a little longer on the table it makes for a much more comfortable recovery with less rick of infection. I have to say it was one of the main reasons I chose her because I hated the idea of having to constantly be emptying them. I have started packing my bag and am trying to think of all the things I will need. I am an avid book reader but from other reviews I don't think I will be able to concentrate on a book, maybe I should bring some magazines instead?
