Anne is a fantastic surgeon - she took so much time to explain my condition to me, and talk me through the options. It was only when I spoke to Anne that I found someone who was genuinely interested in the impact lipoedema was having on my life. She was calm and patient with me - I have a terrible fear or anaesthetic and her and her team went above and beyond to get me through my surgeries.

Having previously consulted with four other plastic surgeons, I felt at ease from the moment I entered Miss Dancey’s consulting room. I was able to discuss my concerns freely; she is so approachable, gentle and kind. It was also incredibly helpful to see images of Miss Dancey’s work. I had no hesitation in booking my surgeries. The level of care I received at the hospital was first class and it was reassuring to see my surgeon several times during my hospital stay. I had a lengthy recovery and throughout that time I had regular contact with Miss Dancey and she provided a high level of post operative care. This was really important to me. I can only conclude that Miss Dancey is deeply committed to her patients and I highly recommend her.

After extreme weight loss I was left with loads of excess skin and stubborn pockets of fat that just refused to go even with exercise. I decided the only way for me to get the body shape that I really wanted was to under go plastic surgery. After months of researching I found Ms Anne Dancey so booked a consultation with her thought her wonderful and friendly secretary Gayle. My first impression of Ms Dancey were she was very friendly And down to earth. At the consultation She took the time to really listen to what I wanted, And then she told me what in her expertise she would need to do to accomplish those results, for me . Ms Dancey is all about the best results and long term results for you, I left my consultation with her knowing she was the one for me. I under went my first surgery September 2021 just over 4 months ago. I under went a tummy tuck with liposuction with amazing results. I could not be happier.. Ms Dancey is definitely an artist and her work is truly a reflection of herself. She's truly amazing in her field. I'd recommend her to anyone. She's compassionate, yet honest on what she can and can't accomplish your not just another surgery to her. She tells you what to expect afterwards, the good and bad stuff. She takes her time and explains everything, in detail which is very reassuring. any concerns or questions you may have she or Gayle will respond to you quickly. And I am a Very, very, happy client. She's truly changed my life. I'm more confident & happier I cannot believe when I look in the mirror .She is a perfectionist and that is something we all would like when it comes to procedures being done on us. I'm so impressed with her results that I'm now waiting for a 2nd surgery . My only regret is that I wish I had contacted her years ago.

Miss Dancey is highly professional, extremely experienced, knowledgeable and has a lovely caring nature. The minute I met with Miss Dancey I knew this was who I wanted to perform my complex lipoedema liposuction surgery. She made me feel instantly at ease and has reassured me every step of the way. My first surgery was complex lipoedema liposuction with a brachioplasty and since the surgery my pain has diminished and the results even at this early stage are amazing. Miss Dancey will be performing all of my surgeries and I need at least another 5. Nothing is too much trouble and she goes the extra mile for her patients. Anne Dancey is a wonderful surgeon who is very caring with patients. Her skill in her work is truly amazing top class care and top class results. I contacted Anne Dancey just over a year ago to start planning for a lipoabdominoplasty. I had a very large gap in my rectus muscles, which gave me a lot of trouble with my back/core, and made me feel horrible. A few things drew me to her: that she does lipoabdominoplasty, that she is very open about how she keeps abreast of latest advances, that she has lots of extra qualifications, and that she doesn't put patients' photos online to be viewed with no context. I found Anne to be very warm, and put me at ease quickly. She is sympathetic, and understands your insecurities without making you feel like there's anything to be shy about. Anne told me lipoabdominoplasty should give me the result I want (which was: not perfection, but something approximating pre-pregnancy, and pre- diastasis recti). I felt fully informed whe I agreed to the surgery. I didn't feel at all pressured at any time. One big reason I put off surgeey for so long was because I used to work in a private cosmetic surgery hospital, and they were so pushy. I never felt as though money came before my care at Spire Little Aston with Anne. Anne visited me with the lovely cosmetic nurse after surgery to tell me how it had gone. Even on the occasions you don't see her around the ward, she is definitely keeping a close eye on your care. I had several follow-up appointments with both Anne and the nurses. I had a minor complication where I got a rash, and where part of my wound was stubborn to heal. I had extra consults because of that, and never made to feel as though I was making a fuss. It was such a relief to be able to have as many aftercare appointments as I needed. Nearly one year after my surgery, I am 100% healed and back to normal. My big scar has faded a lot. I can see my belly button, which I couldn't before the surgery. I look and feel like I used to before pregnancy. My back pain has improved. I recommend Anne Dancey, and thank her and every member of the team for looking after me so well.

Excellent I was incredibly apprehensive about having further surgery to remove implants in particular post operative pain management. Anne listened and took on board my concerns and the surgery went so much better than I could have expected She is an excellent surgeon who really cares about her patients
