Your results are amazing! I'm currently 3weeks post op and still don't feel like I can do normal things like kneel/bend down- so worried! When did u feel like you was back to normal?! Hope mine is as good as yours!
Ah congratulations on the surgery! It's honestly life changing! And totally worth the long recovery time so hang in there! It took me till 5 weeks to feel like actively back to normal and even then I still had stints of pain or discomfort, when I went for my 6 week check up I had pain when he examined me, and the doctor adviced me to massage (which has totally helped loosen the skin - but that took till week 12). It's a long journey, definitely have patience though because its so worth it :) xx

Ok 5 weeks that's good to know! I just need to try and act as normal as possible when I go back to work so questions aren't raised lol! I'm just worried about pulling a stitch and completely ruining everything this late on into recovery!
I mean everyone is different so you should probably ask your surgeon, but my stitches dissolved sooner than 3 weeks, maybe ask at what point yours should have dissolved? I think you should be okay, but I know the feeling. I totally freaked when one of my stitches snapped! But it was all good in the end :) xx
Hi. Did you go under General anaesthetic for this? I saw the nurse yesterday and I met Dr Lee and have decided to go with him but am opting for local anaesthetic. I have so many questions about this so trying to find others who have had it!

Final Check-up

Right, I'm 7.5 weeks in! I had my final meeting with my surgeon Dr. Simon Lee on Thursday the 23rd of Feb - which was really good, he confirmed the colour would blur, and advised that gentle massaging of the area would help with the discomfort. I'm so happy with my result, I really can't begin to say how much I just wish I had done it sooner!

I used to feel so self-conscious in gym pants, worrying that I had a bulge going on! Now I feel so good, I actually don't worry about it at all, I don't even think about it which is great! My boyfriend loves my new-found confidence, naked walking around is 100% happening haha - it just feels right, like I can totally embrace myself now, without the discomfort and the embarrassment.

It looks sooo good! I'm so happy for you! It's perfect! I'm 5 weeks out and am so happy with my result too. So glad the worst is over -Thanks for your advice/help earlier in my healing. Glad to hear your self confidence and sex has been improved. I'm currently single which was great for recovery but can't wait to show it off! Haha ;)

Are you still able to orgasm during sex? I have read some women have trouble with that after surgery and that part concerns me greatly!!!
Hiya, I've seen all the stories so totally appreciate where your concern is coming from, and I guess that's always the risk you take with surgeries like this. But I've had no problems at all, if anything it's probably easier now that I don't feel so self conscious and I can't relax and just enjoy the intimacy with my partner! I included these in my last update, but they didn't attach for some reason. Basically shows the colour difference and also the rate at which the two labia have 'settled', where the left side still looks like it isn't attached properly...
