WORTH IT
Twenty years ago I had 200 cc over the muscle implants as prolonged breast feeding had left me with hardly anything. This took me to a B cup which I was quite happy with as I'm petite and athletic and didn't want anything too obvious.
After some years, I developed grade 4 capsular contracture which made my breasts very firm, uncomfortable and distorted (think tennis balls). I have such a fear of surgery that I kept putting it off, but finally got round to it this year.
My breast width was measured at 11.5 cms and my surgeon advised me to go larger as when the capsule was removed there would be a larger pocket to fill. He suggested 270 or 300 cc Nagor Impleo moderate profile and I eventually decided on 300 cc (whereupon he remarked that this would give this most aesthetically pleasing result). I was concerned that I might look too large but he reassured me that it was a good choice.
I was extremely nervous on the day of surgery but everyone was lovely, and the operation was successful. As it had been done early in the day and everything was fine, I was allowed home at about 7.30pm and went straight to bed!
The next day, the anaesthetic had worn off more fully so I experienced more discomfort, but nothing unbearable at all. My arm movements were very limited and my husband had to wash my hair for me!
It's day 12 now and I feel more like myself each day. I'm not allowed to run or exercise properly for 6 weeks but have started going for brisk walks and doing some (very careful) abs with my arms crossed over my chest.
It's early days yet, but I think my boobs will be fine once they settle. They still feel alien to me, and a bit bigger than before, but not too over the top. I'm still wearing a Macom post-surgery bra which is hideous but very supportive and will apparently accelerate healing. I'm glad the worst is over and can't wait until I forget they're there! I've attached some not very good before and after school.

I am now a week post op and feeling so much better. I had 460cc, but I'm 5'6" and probably weightier than you! Delighted with the 34F outcome!
Yes, Day 8 now and feeling a lot better. Still not driving, but thankfully my son is home from uni, so he took me to the hairdresser today - even thinking of going out to a nice restaurant tomorrow night! It is a big deal, you are quite right. However, I found it so much easier than first time round - how about you? I wasn't able to lift my arms at all first time and having a two year old at the time, made it very difficult! I don't think I'm in pain at all now really - I just seem to be getting the odd bit which seems mainly to be caused by this wretched bra 'rucking up'! I also had a fibroadenoma removed at the same time, so I did have some pain and bruising from that, but that is also getting better now. I am so looking forward to going underwear shopping - although I think I may not have as many choices now at 34F - I'm sure I will still manage to find some nice things!
I don't know what you think, but I feel there is a real call for someone to produce 'soft bras' that are supportive but attractive/pretty/sexy looking?? Most of them out there in the UK look pretty awful. I need to put my mind to it - could be a new business idea!!! Have a nice weekend! :)
I bought some 'just in case' non-wired bras from M&S. For wearing under lower cut tops. They're not pretty but acceptable and cheap! (£14 for a 2 pack). From 6 weeks I can wear what I want, hurray!
Hope your recovery is going well.
