16 Year Migraine sufferer Spartanburg SC

WORTH IT$550
Had my second injections today with Dr. Orseck. The procedure was quick and for the most part painless. I really do like him and his staff. Kayla (I think that is her name) is very sweet and knowledgeable about the procedure and also helpful with any questions I have no matter how ridiculous I felt they sounded. I go back for a free glo peel that I received during the special in December for free. I like this group it feels like all the professional care you need from a physican and nursing staff but also like a nice cosmetic spa as well.... really looking forward to the next couple months or so without horrible headaches and frown lines as well!

Dr. Orsek was very kind and nice. He did tell me that he does not do the botox for migraines but I told him that I had it done before and it had helped them tremendously. My insurance would cover a neurologist doing them but if it were anywhere but my face I wouldn't be so concerned. However, I would rather someone perform the procedure that had a lot of experience and he really did a good job. It took a good 75% of the intensity out of my headaches. I still get them them but they are not as frequent or intense. I have noticed somewhat of an improvement of my wrinkles but I would need a filler to probably get the deeper wrinkles removed. I am very impressed how this procedure helps so much. I feel so much better and am able to live a little without constantly making sure i have my imitrex everywhere i go.

That's wonderful to hear, thank you for sharing?

What areas besides your forehead do you have Botox injected? The scalp and neck area too?

no I didn't have the neck or scalp because I have severe arthritis in my neck with bulging discs and had read reviews where it made some people have horrible neck pain and I honestly couldn't stand any more. The problem is my insurance will not pay for it if I do not do it through a neurologist and have it put in the "designated" areas they have deemed for migraine use. I have had migraines for 18 years! I have been on numerous meds for just as long for them. It has been a little over a month and the times I do get headaches it is usually from the triggers that I have verified over the years but they are not as severe or long lasting in duration. Overall I am going to do it again. It has also helped with my frown lines quite a bit. It keeps me from "furrowing my brow" hard and I always do that which is why my line between my eyes was so bad. I really would need fillers if I were to correct it completely but still I has helped a good little bit. I am almost 50 so I can't exactly expect to look like I am 20. I just like not having as angry of a look all the time. I feel like I have gotten 2 birds with one stone as they say..... I love the doctor he was just so nice and he was kind and he wanted to be sure of what I wanted and expected. You don't find many doctors who really feel that way... At least I never have. On a scale of 1 to 10 for headache relief I would definitely give it a 8.
