WORTH IT$16,000
On our 15th wedding anniversary, my husband had a frank discussion about how I wasn't taking care if myself physically. He helped me get over that first, painful hurdle of recognizing that I needed to change my lifestyle habits of eating and exercising. In about a year, I lost 30-35lbs and was averaging 5 miles running every other day. But I couldn't get rid of that belly bump that I had from bearing 2 babies. Every pair of pants and skirts I put on would have that noticeable fatty belly bump that just depressed me. Also, I had always been a bra size of 34D since I was a teenager, and now I was noticing there was extra space in the bra cups when I would wear them. I noticed that I had some definite droop going on. This is what spurned me on to do the Mommy Makeover. I wanted to feel comfortable in my skin again and recognize myself in the mirror. I had originally thought of doing the Mommy Makeover in 2015, but chickened out, then finally did it 2 weeks ago. I kick myself in the butt because I should not have waited! The doc and nurses and staff have been amazingly patient, kind, courteous, friendly, and helpful. On the day of the procedure, I was treated like royalty, everyone was just so encouraging and reassuring. I will admit the first week recovering was really tough because I have a very low pain tolerance, but this second week has been a night and day difference. I am counting down the days for when the swelling goes down and I can get dolled up to go on a date with my husband. I had already even bought the dress before the procedure, so it is hanging in my closet as a visual goal of what I did all this for. Thank you to the Southwest Plastic Surgeon Team!! :)

Dr. Agullo is very courteous and professional. You might think it's feel weird being examined by a man for your plastic surgery needs, but he has a great bedside manner that puts you at ease. His nursing staff and anesthetist are very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to taking the time to answer even the most minor of questions. I really appreciate how well the entire team took care of me on the procedure day, and they continue to exhibit great care for me on the follow up appointments.
