I used to tan A LOT in my teens and twenties , - the result- brown patches and freckles, and I also noticed some melasma above my upper lip after using birth control. It was completely worth it to have this procedure done. My self confidence had been suffering because I felt like I looked like such an old hag compared to my friends who are the same age as me. I hated looking at myself in photos and only seeing the brown patches on my face and my "skin mustache". I only had one session so far and will go back for more . The procedure is very quick , slightly painful, but nothing you can't handle! It may take a few more tries to diminish the upper lip darkness , but it has worked wonderfully on my cheeks and forehead.
