Hello! I know you are a few days po, so could you give me some food ideas for the first week?

Yes Momofgirls, id love to help!! My phones touchscreen is going out, so bare with me. I bought a fresh pineapple, 2 fresh fruit trays, I'd get ritz crackers, chips, popcorn, and maybe something sugary. The fruit kept me alive for the first days. Please stay on top of pain meds, you will be tired and really will only have a quick snack to eat before your eyes start to get heavy. Buy lots of water, I use all the water flavorings so that helps. They say pineapple helps with swelling. Not sure how.much of that is.true. oh also get activia yogurt, its good and helps with regularity as well as preventing a nasty yeast infection.

Just reading over my previous review and don't remember ever writing any of it!! Oh the joys of Percosets! I'm glad it makes some sense, except how the hell did I know he takes his time with every patient?? It should be illegal to type and be on Narcotics!

Yes drain free is great! You know I have been super disappointed, almost depressed about everything, such as swelling and this damn garment, BUT today I had a great day! I was outside for 4 hours this evening, watching my kids play baseball and it was awesome to be outside like a normal person.

Glad to hear there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I am where you were ... disappointed, annoyed, uncomfortable, argg!! I am hoping next week is better.

I hate it! I don't think I realized how long of a process this was going to be. I read about it, but figured if my excess skin was off, who cares. But I don't even look down and get excited yet! I hate being negative, that's why I haven't posted about my frustration, but I see everyone else is going through the same damn thing!!! When will this be over?

It really sucks. I thought that by 7-10 days I would be more independent. But these drains are holding me back. The good thing is we now know that these feelings are totally normal and we have all gone through this at one point or another. I can't wait to be FREE!

I am going to Wally World, I can be one of those people they post a Walmartian, LOL Let my drain hang out, LOL I gotta feel normal soon, I look like a cavewoman, I am going to get my eyebrows waxed and my nails done anything to feel amongst the living!!! Me and my drain will be together at least til Monday 17 freaking days!! OMG!

I went in public somewhere and both of my drains hung out of the bottom of my hoodie and I had no idea. I'm sure they looked like saggy testicles!

Well it's been quite a few weeks since I've added pics or even been on the site. I'm so frustrated by the swelling that I still deal with every damn day! I have 2 "dog ears" on my back from my tummy tuck, so I cut my binder to where I can strap it on so the bulges dont' hang over my pants! Quite irritating! Check out my before pics of my nasty, huge belly button and look at my pic I just took tonight! I am almost normal. Weird because I would have bet money that my belly button was going to have reconstructive surgery!

I still have a lot of swelling. It may not look that way in pictures, but I still can't wear my jeans from before surgery.
