Loving my new breast. My clothes are fitting so much nicer. I was so afraid I was going to lose sensitivity in my nipples. So happy to say.... Not one bit. Woo Hoo

I had a mommy makeover 10 years ago when I was living in Scottsdale Az. I had very bad stretch marks so I could not wait to have a tummy tuck and my breast were more 36 long than 36B. I talked to my surgeon and told him I did not want to be bigger than a C cup, but when I woke up I was a Double D. I am very modest and have spent the last 10 years trying to cover myself up. I felt it made me look even heavier than I am. Finally I decided to have them removed, I felt like they looked more like udders than breast. I talked to a few plastic surgeons but the one I chose actually listened to me. He first talked about taking the implants out and possibly putting in new smaller ones but after listening to me he realized I wanted to be more natural and that my course of treatment would be implant removal and a lift. I am 3 weeks out of my surgery and I am happier than I have been in years. I look like I have lost 20lbs. My shoulders were hunched because I was always trying to hide my chest or as I referred to it, the two newborn baby heads sitting on my chest.

Congratulations ! I'm glad your surgery went well.
Did you go with the lift? How is the recovery with that.

I did go with the lift. I did implant removal and a lift. It has been 3 weeks and so far so good. I would say painful first 36 hours. My nipples burned but easily controlled with the pain meds. There was itching where tape had been. No stitches on the outside just glue I am assuming stitches on the inside. So far look like 18 yr old breast. Very perky. Just hate I waited so long.

Hooray for finding a doctor who listens. So glad you are feel lighter! Your comment about the newborn baby heads made me LOL. Have you been shopping for new bras and tops yet?

Thank you for your post. I feel like your story is my story! I have been hiding and hunched over for over 10 years since my implants. Wanted a nice C and got Double D. I don't feel well and I have my consultation for explant in two weeks. I feel nervous but that relief could be on its way. So happy to see you are happy with your results!

I am so upset I waited so long. I honestly look like I lost weight in my clothes. I can wear a sports bra. I am beyond happy. I wish you all the best.

I wanted to go up 1 cup size from C to D to add more fullness, I was 27 at the time, 2 kids and was at an ideally low weight, but woke up with DD's. Why does this happen? I am so glad to hear you are loving it! I look very heavy with them too, unless I am wearing all tailored to fit clothes, then I look like I am flaunting everything. I am 46 now and very active, but they slow me down and get in the way. LOL! Newborn baby heads! No kidding! Thanks for sharing your story, let us know how things are going!
