I originally went in to Dr.Maliks office to inquire about Novathread. I was shown multiple pictures of beautiful results and decided to try it, I was not warned about the potential things that could go wrong. After the procedure which I was charged $1600 for, I looked like a complete freak. 3 Huge welps on each cheekbone, which I was told would resolve in 24-48 hours. Fast forward 2 months and the bumps were still there. I don't mean small bumps I mean 3 bumps on each side of my cheek, looking like I was trying body modification. One thread was obviously trying to poke through my skin, hurt like anything and I was told it was just the end of a cannula...however I could feel the thread with my fingertip. I went to another doctor bawling, who tried to make it a tad less painful, by using infrared laser (also costing me about $200) Dr. Malik saw me in her office about 3 times a week for a month to treat the issue, however it did not help at all. I spent all summer hiding and hoping the threads would just dissolve. Now, I see where the threads were inserted have given me a huge concave bump on each side of my face near my ear. Which I am having to spend additional thousands of dollars to have corrected. The worst part is Dr.Malik refused to refund any part of the procedure. Even though it was a complete disaster & I felt very misinformed and then just basically, too bad for you. No refunds. So I am paying off a procedure that caused severe mental and physical anguish. It is beyond frustrating. Do not recommend.
