Healing Beautifully..
Today is 6 & 1/2 weeks post op and I couldn't be more pleased. I cannot convey the level of expertise along with just how amazing Dr. Chad Deal and his staff truly are. Go in for a consultation and see for yourself. I'm serious!
And 2 weeks ago today I switched (from Mederma scar gel) to a different and more advanced healing scar gel called Kelo-cote that I ordered online, -and boy, - it is making a difference already.
At this time I am still swollen and it is going to take a few more months (if not more) to get the full benefits of the complete results and I shall continue to keep you all updated regarding my healing journey and more.

And let me add this : my confidence has sky rocketed and i walk with my head held a bit higher these days. It's true. :)

You look great! Id love to see the pictures you didn't post in here. Do you mind if I ask you height and pre weight and weight now? Did you seem bigger the 1st few days after surgery? I'm only 4 days out and am bigger than i started at and I'm so bloated feeling.

Well it was done July 16. I no longer wear any garments cause I have gotten too small for them. I don't notice any swelling anymore except in the mons area. The rest of my tummy stopped swelling about 3 weeks ago. My hips do still get some puffiness but nothing to really even mention. My scar does not look as good as yours. Mine is more of a red in color and almost like since he pulls you so tight my scar has started to stretch. May have a revision after the holidays. (see if I can get the hubs to go for that! Hence the "soldiersurprise", hes in Afghanistan! ) My muscle repair still gets sore and I only assume that it is the nerves more than anything. I have not started exercising yet. 2 kids with my husband gone makes for long no time to myself days. So Im not sure how that's going to go but Im not to worried. Besides that everything seems to be going the way it should. Another plus with it that I noticed and love was a small lift in my thighs and lady parts. I can def tell on the thighs cause how my jeans fit.
